  Brisket Nachos ($9.99 +$1.5 for extra cheese + $2.25 drink) The brisket for the nachos & the drink, was the best thing. Brisket was perfectly cooked, but the food was not hot. It was barely warm. 3 meat plate ($22.50). The sausage was ok, but not cooked enough. I was generally underwhelmed with everything else (cornbread, potato salad, pulled pork, and burnt ends.) The service was good and there was plenty of space to sit. I was really hopeful, this would have been a better food experience.

  Ordered a 3-meat plate (lean brisket, pork ribs & sausage) and a large sliced brisket sandwich. Sides: mac & cheese, creamed corn, potato salad. All of it was excellent! Brisket was tender and juicy. Loved the sweet BBQ sauce. Definitely recommend and we will be back to try other items on the menu. Great job HEB!

  I’ve heard about the HEB bbq and had to get some. I went inside to see the set up. Like a bbq restaurant inside a supermarket. Full bbq selection on the menu including beef ribs! I got a half pound of fatty side and half pound of lean brisket. All of it was delicious and as good as about any others in the area. I’ll get it again.

  Ordered online for curbside pickup. They were out of mac and cheese. Made me come in for a refund. After a few minutes of the cashier scanning my phone for the order barcode repeatedly, I had to wait for a manager and other orders to be filled while I waited. When the manager did show up, he acknowledged the difficulties in issuing refunds. As they continued to scan my phone for several minutes more while they played guessing games for the codes. I suggested that should be refunded for more as the process was becoming increasingly ridiculous. Instead of an acknowledgement of my frustrations, I was told "its just the system ". I replied, Regardless, the customer experience is disappointing at best. I proceeded to tell him not to.minimize my complaint. After a short exchange of polite but terse words, I left with a refund and no apologies whatsoever. I expressed how my last order was messed up and after that experience, I had reservations about spending so much money for disappointment and dissatisfaction. This sealed it for me. I will never spend a dime there again. Take my advice, save your hard earned dollars, and go elsewhere
