  We didn’t get our food when it was ready. They’re too busy talking to each other and such. My husband had to go ask them, and there response was we had already called you. But, when you’re sitting at the picnic tables. You can’t hear them over the TV.. To top it the 2 meat plate wasn’t even hot..

  1, all tables were dirty , we cleaned it ourselves 2, tea was old and spoiled 3, all sodas were flat except for the heb brand fountain drinks 4,if you order in the non bbq side they dont announce your order on that side for bbq . So unless you have been there before they will just let your food get cold on the otherside after announcing once. 5 bunt ends were gummy non edible 6 food was not even room temp , it was cold I really wanted to like this place but it holds no standards compared to the bastrop and other tru texas locations . Empathy runs rampart here unfortunately

  Mike Roland nick are the coolest guys they’ll give you prime time service. Beef ribs on Friday are amazing

  The Potranco location is the worst location I have been too. The seating area was taken over by staff on break 6 members all sitting at their own picnic table. They deserve their own break area to relax. Self serve drink area was dirty was not attended to in the 45 minutes I was there for Lunch. The plastic utensils dispenser was so dirty i needed to make sure I was ready to catch before it hit the bottom. I got the Jefe sandwich plenty of brisket that was slightly undercooked and was missing flavor. As bad as this experience was the Bulverde Tx Location and the 1604 Bulverde store are that Good I chose to try Potranco store Lunch. Will not do that again:(

  Service.... was fast as we ordered through the kiosk and our food was ready in 15 minutes. Food.... I ordered a carnitas bowl and was not impressed with the way the pork tasted. 😒 I was able to eat some but had to stop. I ate much less than half. My son ordered a plate with a leg quarter and a link of sausage. For someone whom loves bbq he also said he wasn't interested in finishing his food cause it wasn't great. Atmosphere.... Several tables were empty but had not been wiped down and dirty.
