I made reservations for fathers day sat down and left immediately. When we arrived there was fans set up due to the AC not working well. When you Google this place and AC out you will see that this is a frequent problem. MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER--- Part 2- this is my response to the owners about it not being common for the AC to struggle at his establishment. After a simple Google search; it is so a common issue, do not try and mislead people sir or ma'am. I had made these reservations days in advance. Someone should have attempted to email, text or call with an update about the ac issue to give my family the opportunity to decide if we would want to dine in the Texas heat during the summer in front of a hibachi grill with multiple fans blowing to circulate hot air around the room. I was literally sweating. I also felt extremely sorry for your chef who was sweating so terribly around the face that his hair was soaking wet and it looked like he was about to pass out. This is not okay! SHAME on you for picking profits over your staffs safety and patrons comfort! Zero stars should be an option for this experience. SHAME on you!

Called ahead of time to make a reservation no one answered the phone. After arriving to the restaurant it was completely dark, hot, & humid. The hostess was very rude and unwelcoming, asked if we had reservations and we informed her that we had called and no one answered the phone. We were then told that the next walk in table would be available in three hours. We also witnessed her answer a ringing phone and then proceeded to hang it up. Establishment is completely unprofessional.

We have wanted to try this place since we moved here. I wish we hadn’t. It was WAY too overpriced and below average, at best. The building itself seems to be struggling to keep up with the endeavors inside. It was lunchtime and therefore not busy. But the AC couldn’t handle the few tables that were running. Their solution was to place fans around…blowing straight on the people dining. So. Take away. Uncomfortable made even more uncomfortable. Our “chef” was a nice guy. But no skills. If you’re looking for a show…be prepared to be disappointed. That said, the table next to us had a different chef and he seemed to be much more of a showman. The food was meh. The fried rice was over-peppered and under-salted. Took a lot of doctoring after it was dished up. Sad thing was our “chef” placed the rice bowls upside down on our plates. So, we had no choice but to have the rice on our plate. Table next to us? Rice bowl served beside the plate. So. People had their choice on keeping it in the bowl or serving out a little onto their plate. Much preferred, personally, but not necessarily a big deal…except for all these “little deals” we encountered. My family and I all got shrimp. The family seated with us ranged from chicken to shrimp to scallops to steak. Our shrimp were ok. The chicken was WAY overcooked. And we had that in our fried rice. The scallops were undercooked. The “chef” allowed the guy with the scallops to use his already eaten from fork to put the scallops back on the grill. The steak had been requested at medium well and it was under done for that. Again, the already eaten from fork was used to put the steak back on the grill. If this had been reasonably priced, I might have been nicer here. But. Our bill included four shrimp meals with chicken fried rice, one beer, on sprite, and two lemonades. And it was $246 BEFORE a mandatory tip. That is insane. And then we noticed on the way out the cleanliness rating was a “B”. We won’t be back. And we can’t recommend.

We went here for my husband’s birthday yesterday service was great no problem there both Caleb and the female waitress that helped them out. Chef was a little dry at first but after cracking jokes he opened up and it was a nice experience. Atmosphere was quiet and quaint but they need to remodel bad looked a little dusty and run down and very dark in there I’m sure we would see more if it was more lighting. Food highly disappointing The soup was very good. And the salad with the ginger sauce I really Liked that salad although many at the table didn’t care for it but everyone loved the soup. The portions and prices do not go together they were out of scallops so a lot of us ended up getting shrimp and I added on chicken to my steak and shrimp combo. Babyyy when I tell you there wasn’t any transparency in what a side of chicken cost I was thinking $8 at the most. I got 6 little pieces of chicken and they charged me $24 for it and it barely had flavor they cut up 2 thin chicken breast and split it amongst 4 people and they put the rest in the rice for those who order chicken fried rice. We got more shrimp than anything 8 pieces plus the 2 that comes for a small appetizer in the combo. Veggies and rice. It feels more like price gouging and because people constantly patronize this lace they don’t really care. Even the workers feel it’s over priced and for them as well we talked to several of them. The lychee sake was very good i really liked that very sweet and floral. I tried the plum and it was little too sweet with a kick to it. My husband had the Texas ranger and it was $22 each you see this glass the price don’t match this glass. That has mostly ice 😑. The steak was ok seasoned well with that butter garlic sauce. Like I said the portions didn’t match we had 4 steaks for the whole table everybody order steak. 4 people had steamed rice I the other 5 of us had some kind of fried rice. Rather veggie or chicken which again the portion didn’t match the price. Everything mixed together gave you a nice amount food but the prices are out rages. More jokes than tricks and a show. Sadly we will not be back to this price gouging place and I wouldn’t suggest anyone else go either. I think because the name has steak house in it that it should have those prices but not if you’re not giving the portions! $24 for a side of chicken I will never let that go and I only got 6 pieces. I did inform the lady Steve and she apologized and said they can’t do anything about the prices but they have had a lot of people complain About it.
