  I went here as a second date. Perfect second date by the way. Our cook was amazing. Our waiter for very attentive. The atmosphere is perfect. I had the ribeye it was cooked to perfection and it was so tender. My girlfriend got chicken and shrimp. The chicken was really good and despite having a bad experience with shrimp 34 years ago tried it here and it was really good made me like shrimp again so thanks chef aka Jose the dishwasher! That's a table joke he will know. The drinks looked good I don't drink anymore though. Everyone at our table was relaxed we were all able to joke around and laugh and have a good time. Will definitely do this again when it's our one year anniversary. Perfect date spot.

  Sumo Japanese Steakhouse was an amazing experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Sumo Japanese Steakhouse to anyone looking for a great meal and a fantastic dining experience!

  This place at its very very best is decent, the food is ok, just be mindful of their servers and their scammy ways I took my family and thankfully I noticed they added a gratuity charge when we didn't even meet the requirements for it, I almost tipped when they blatantly stole from me. I don't reccomend this place there are TONS of places to get hibachi where it's actually good food, and they aren't actively trying to scam you for every penny. SHAME ON THIS PLACE AND ITS EMPLOYEES! The chef was cool though.

  Honestly, I expected much better for the prices. The food quality was disappointing and did not feel worth what we paid. On top of that, the restaurant was extremely hot inside with no AC, which made the overall experience uncomfortable. I don’t mind paying higher prices when the food and atmosphere match, but unfortunately, this experience did not justify the cost. Hopefully, they can improve the food quality and address the AC issue.
