Came in for an early dinner with my wife and had a greeat experience. Our server Kaleb was top tier! I've spent more than my fair share in steakhouses across the country and Kaleb is probably the most memorable sever I've ever had. Polite, attentive, presented the menu well, as well as offering suggestions and his personal favorites. Service was so good that I asked to speak to the manager to sing him praises and she was not surprised one bit.
Oh, and the food for perfect, too!!
You guys keep doing what you're doing and we'll keep on coming back! 5 stars all around.

We came in just before 3:15 PM to celebrate our daughter becoming a high school freshman. The hostess was wonderful and kindly found us a booth, which was important because my wife is disabled and has difficulty with regular tables.
Unfortunately, our waiter really brought the experience down. We asked twice for refills, 15 minutes apart, and were still forgotten. My steak also wasn’t cooked to well-done, the garlic butter was missing, and no one checked on us. I understand being busy, but if you’re overwhelmed, ask for help. The worst part was hearing him clearly say to a coworker, “Figures they paid with a gift card, my tip is going to suck.” We heard it, including our daughter. After that, the tip I had planned to leave was no longer deserved. It’s disappointing that a special celebration was ruined by one employee’s attitude.

The wait, was only 30 minutes for a Saturday night which was perfect as it was the last minute choice to go out to eat. The food was great minus a $40 steak we got that was mainly fat, but still good flavor overall. The other two meals we got were cooked to perfection.
RYAN our server, was an ABSOLUTE delight, friendly, & very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and even gave a couple recommendations that we were pleased we went with. He was very attentive to our table even though he had a party that he was already committed to 👏👏. Left there pleasantly stuffed. Overall great experience.

If zero or negative stars were an option, that's exactly what I would give this restaurant.
Our experience was disappointing from beginning to end, and the lack of management made it even worse.
Jason, the "manager" (and I use that title very loosely), stood there looking completely dumbfounded and offered no meaningful resolution to the many problems we encountered.
We were a table of nine, yet our waitress brought out only one loaf of bread. We asked for more bread and never received it.
It took nearly 20 minutes for my children to receive their soft drinks. When one finally arrived, it had debris floating in it and the outside of the cup was visibly dirty as well. We asked for a replacement, which took another 10 minutes to arrive, and it came without a straw. When we asked for one, the waitress handed it to us while carrying it in her bare hand instead of by the wrapper, which was unhygienic. The adults who ordered alcoholic beverages were never brought water unless we specifically asked, which was just another example of the inattentive service throughout the meal.
We ordered the shrimp fondue appetizer, but it was extremely watery. The peppers were soggy, and despite the appetizer being served, we were never given plates to eat it.
About 25 minutes after we placed our dinner orders, our waitress came back to tell us the prime rib was unavailable. When we questioned why it took so long to tell us, Jason admitted that the restaurant had actually been out of prime rib for hours. There is absolutely no excuse for allowing guests to wait that long for an item the kitchen already knew was unavailable.
When Jason finally came to our table, instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, he simply shrugged his shoulders and told us there was nothing he could do about his waitress. A manager's job is to manage, solve problems, and ensure guests have a positive experience. Instead, we were left feeling dismissed, unheard, and unimportant.
After sitting in the restaurant for over an hour, we ultimately left hungry, frustrated, and completely disappointed. It's unfortunate when a restaurant loses business not because of one mistake, but because of a long series of preventable failures and a manager who showed no interest in correcting them.
This wasn't just another dinner out. It was our first opportunity to have a family meal together since my military brother and his family returned to the U.S. after being stationed overseas. Instead of making memories together, we left after more than an hour hungry, frustrated, and feeling completely dismissed as customers.
We will not be returning, nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone. My sister-in-law is a Landry's member and very disappointed in the company.

Our experience at Saltgrass was, without question, the worst dining experience we’ve had since moving to San Antonio.
We were a party of nine and were brought only one loaf of bread to share. We asked for more, but over an hour later, we still never received it.
Service only got worse from there. It took approximately 40 minutes for our waitress, Savannah, to take our order. Our drinks didn’t arrive for about 20 minutes, even though they were just regular beverages. One lemonade was served with debris floating in it. When it was replaced, Savannah handed the straw to the guest with her bare hands instead of leaving it wrapped or placing it on the table, which was very off-putting.
After waiting another 30 minutes, Savannah finally took our food order. Then, an hour and ten minutes later, she returned to tell us she had just entered our order into the system and that the restaurant was out of prime rib. We were shocked. If prime rib had been unavailable all day, why weren’t we told before we spent so much time deciding what to order? That information should have been communicated immediately.
The seafood fondue appetizer arrived looking more like a runny soup than the dish we expected. At that point, we’d had enough and asked to speak with a manager.
Unfortunately, Jason, the manager, made the situation even worse. Rather than apologizing or taking ownership of the experience, he simply said, “There’s nothing I can do about my waitress.” As a manager, addressing service issues is part of the job. He also stated that the prime rib had been out all day and there was nothing he could do about that either. Again, if that was the case, why weren’t customers informed before waiting well over an hour for food that couldn’t even be ordered?
The lack of communication, poor service, long waits, food quality issues, and dismissive management made this an incredibly frustrating experience. We understand that restaurants have busy nights and mistakes happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. Unfortunately, no one seemed interested in making things right.
We left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this location based on our experience.
