- JMJavier Mejia1 day ago1.0We came in around 9:00 p.m. to a restaurant that was only about half full. We were told there would be a wait, which I completely understand if they’re short-staffed that late in the evening. When the hostess finally took us to our table, it was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. She asked us to go back to the host stand, but then told us she couldn’t seat us at any of the many empty clean tables because of the server rotation. She said it would be “a while” before we could be seated. After waiting longer, we let the hostess know we were going to leave. She didn’t even acknowledge us or look up to apologize or thank us for coming. I understand that staffing and server rotations can create challenges, but basic hospitality and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel like our business wasn’t valued, so we chose to leave without dining.

The food was delicious but if your not a big eater then skip the appetizers because it was a lot of food for my parents before they got their main courses, thankfully I had only gotten a soup lol. Our waitress was amazing and attentive, that's how you know you are going to have a good experience, when the service is wonderful. The food was delicious, a must try for those going into San Antonio. My family and I will definitely be back.
