  This is a must stop when stopping or driving through San Antonio Texas. Thay have parking in the rear!!! That used to be an issue. Service and food are great as usual. Located in the River North/Downtown. Menudo and breakfast tacos. Homemade tortillas.

  We love Pete’s Taco House and often go there for lunch. It’s a solid spot where you get a great meal for a really good price—better value than McDonald’s! Today, Lynn made our dining experience quick and enjoyable. We ordered the lunch special—enchiladas—and she let us have one beef and one chicken since we couldn’t decide. That thoughtful accommodation really made our meal even better. We’ll definitely be back!

  The food was good, the service was awesome. I left my Yeti there by accident for a couple of days. When I went to pick it up they washed it for me which I thought was nice of them.

  It was so good that we came twice in one trip to SA. The breakfast tacos of my dreams. Chile Rellenos perfection. And they nail all the details (the flour tortillas were so good we had to get extras to take home). Aracely took great care of us both times we visited.

  Pete's Tako Received an 84 on their health score on 4/21/2026. notes include - container of pooling egg yolks sitting on the counter at 48F - raw chicken thawing in tote on the floor - multiple food items in each refrigerator without a label - employees not wearing hair restraints - employee drinks next to food prep station - unlabeled and uncovered food items in walk in - sugar stored next to bleach - mold-like build up in the ice machine - employees not wearing gloves while handling ready to eat food
