Our family was on a tight schedule trying to catch our flight, and the staff went above and beyond to get us seated, served, and on our way without feeling rushed. Thanks to their excellent service, we made our flight and didn't have to fly hungry! The food was fantastic, as always, and the friendly, efficient service made all the difference. We love this place and will make it a point to visit every time we're in San Antonio. Highly recommended!
- JJJJun 28, 20265.0Had wonderful service today, Leila was our waitress, she was absolutely FANTASTIC for just beginning her shift! Our group frequents there quite a bit for lunch and she was just excellent, even though she was busy, we didn't wait for a single thing, walked around checking on us in just that perfect amount. Kudos to Leila for excellent service but I also cannot leave out all the other staff as well, the food was delicious(as usual), came out in a timely manner, look forward to going back each time. I recommend asking for Leila but again, many servers there are excellent and it shows they care about their customers.
- BBBryan BaileyJun 28, 20265.0I will say this, in honesty, this Pappasitos is on point 8 outta 10 times and I can almost directly correlate the best experiences to which management team is on the floor and in the kitchen. I do not know the kitchen managers name, he is a short, built Latino guy, as is the other manager in the kitchen. I know they’re a manager because their chef jacket says manager on it. The other Latino gentleman used to be on the floor. Both of these gentlemen ensure that the food is stellar. Today was no exception to that. Additionally, there was our waitress Leila. She was amazing. I have to say, again, generally every single experiment here (8/10) typically is a knock it out of the ballpark event and Leila made that happen today! Also, the female manager that worked today was SUPERB!!!!!

The restaurant is less chaotic and the food is better than I remembered. The restaurant used to be SO LOUD and wait times were a little ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, it's not quiet now, but definitely normal noise level compared to before. On a Fri evening, our party of 5 was sat within 10-15 minutes of arrival. Pretty stellar. Our server was Rhi (Ree) and she was born to be in the service/hospitality industry. Might run it some day. Hands down, best server we've ever seen. Knew the restaurant, not just the menu. Outstanding. We'll be back a little more frequently now.

The service was just okay, I ordered their new watermelon margarita and was very disappointed, the watermelon was stale and had a disgusting taste. So I sent it back, then was approached by the manager and once again I explained that the watermelon had a spoiled taste. I even asked if he had tried to taste just the watermelon mix that day, to which he responded with yes, and didn’t notice any strange taste. In my opinion he lied because I asked several people at my table to try and they all agreed. Maybe he has no taste buds, or he just likes stale watermelon. Anyway he asked if I’d like a different drink I agreed to a regular house margarita. Well we finished our meal and still no drink, so I asked the server to remove it from my bill since they never bothered to bring it. Frankly in speaking with several people we all under the impression this establishment has lost its appeal and definitely its excellent customer service.
