  Jack was honestly the best server I’ve ever had. This was actually my second time coming to the restaurant, and after my first experience with him, I specifically requested him again yesterday. He went completely out of his way to make sure both me and my girlfriend were well taken care of the entire time. The restaurant was completely packed, yet he still managed to provide extremely fast service while handling multiple tables at once. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, professional, and never forgot a single thing we asked for. He constantly checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect despite how busy it was. You can tell Jack genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. Servers like him are rare to find nowadays. He absolutely deserves a raise and recognition for how hard he works. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had because of him.

  Today my husband and I had the BEST experience at Pappasito’s! It was our very first time trying this awesome restaurant, and wow… from the food to the service, everything was incredible! Our server, Ubaldo, was absolutely fantastic! The way he described the food, drinks, and desserts with such detail and enthusiasm made us want to try everything on the menu. You could truly tell he takes pride in what he does. He explained how the food is made fresh for every customer, and you could definitely taste the freshness from the very first bite to the last. Our watermelon margarita was AMAZING, and my pineapple colada… WOW!! So refreshing and they are definitely not stingy with the alcohol either 🤭🍹 If you want great quality food and exceptional service, this is the place to come! To the management team, you can truly tell how much you care about your customers because it shows in the attitude and service of every single staff member in that restaurant. And chefs… hands down 10/10!! 👏👏 Ubaldo, don’t ever change your amazing ways! Thank you for making our first visit such a memorable one. We will definitely be back! 😊

  We came to eat here and understand it's mother's day so the wait is going to be a wait. We got there at 12:45 they told us 2hr wait we agreed. At 2:40 we checked where we were at on the wait list since we are 5min away from the 2hrs and they said it's going to be another 1hr we didn't argue or make a scene out of respect for mother's standing around waiting to be seated as well. We just left! Next time say 3hrs not 2! We wasted 2hs of our time standing around for nothing!

  My husband and I drove in from Austin, Tx to take my mom out to eat who lives in a senior citizen residence here in San Antonio. We understood it’s Mother’s Day and it would be busy however, we were under quoted for our wait time. When we arrived we were told it would be an hour to sit our party of 5. We arrived at 2:00pm, it’s now 4:00pm. After an hour and half passed on we kept checking to assure we weren’t forgotten. At around 3:07 we were told there were 3 tables ahead of us. Now at 3:40, we were told there were still 3 parties ahead of us and we would just have to wait. As someone who used to work at pappasitos I know how busy it can be. However, I know it’s only right to over quote individuals so they have an accurate timing of how long they’ll wait. Also, to tell customers “you’ll just have to wait” is beyond rude and inconsiderate. We could’ve went anywhere else coming from Austin and we chose here. I’ve never been to a pappasitos with such a rude atmosphere and no sincerity. The individuals at the bar were the only one who made any kind of effort.

  PAPPASITO'S has been my place to eat since 1994. Period. Birthdays, Special Guests to our Home ALL! are taken here. Yes, it is expensive, Service is always phenomenal. Food is always the best. It always leaves a great first impression on any first-time guest I bring here. The last time I was here, Saturday April 18th, 2026 we had a table of 5. Our waiter, Alex Barroso, is/was the best waiter I have had, Period. He was funny, Consistent and never hovering over us. When he came, we wanted him to stay as he added timely humor to our small herd! He also had great tips on what to eat, add and what to consider. I cant say enough about Alex, The Manager also came by for a chat and he was genuine and grateful. Thank you Alex for treating us like royalty! God Bless you and we hope life brings you joy and success in abundance! Tip to Anyone, Get there early! Before the Crowd! If you get there during peak hours (or any other Great place to eat) expect to wait! But Grab a beer at the bar!! If your having a problem here, it is probably YOU that is the problem. Cheers!
