  Although I took my food to go, I spent time at the bar and certainly enjoyed the ambiance, hostess, and bartenders. Great food, loved the fried calamari & the pasta Mardi Gras. Can’t wait to go back when I come back, as my San Antonio office is right across the street.

  Great food as usual and only a 5 minute wait to get our table (we had reservations which is a MUST on Mother’s Day). Our waiter Kolade was exceptional! Professional in every way and efficient. Will definitely come back again for special occasions. Redfish, seafood platter and chicken strips were our favorites!

  Pappadeaux has become extremely expensive and has greatly reduced the value of its food. Maybe I am being overly critical because there isn’t much on the menu for me since I have a seafood allergy. My wife wanted to go and being a good husband I took her. I essentially just got a Caesar salary and alligator bites, I don’t recall her meal, but we both always just get water to drink. Our bill still came up to over $110.00, which is not the issue. The issue is the portions were so small for the price.

  The worst experience from any Pappadeaux location ever! It was my uncle's birthday & all he wanted was this he is in the VA Hospital & got a pass to go to dinner for his birthday & everything was terrible from the time we got there till the time we left from the rude hostess, to the forgetful waiter, nonchalant Mgr, to the cold food that was sent to the table after waiting nearly 45 minutes for it to come out & the restaurant was not very busy. I will Never patronize this location Ever again! Oh & we still ended up paying nearly $200.00 for our meal & we still tipped the forgetful waiter $30.00. But Never Again!!

  Dee-lish-ee-us seafood, I had the Pappadeaux Platter wonderful fried oysters, shrimp, fish, stuffed shrimp, and stuffed crab. I had dirty rice instead of fries, sooo good. My wife had stuffed shrimp and fries, perfect. For dessert, we shared the best bread pudding and sauce ever. We always order a Swamp Thing drink with liqueurs and rum. Very wonderful!
