  Not the best pizza I've ever had, but still good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere. Might be kind of pricey for some people- a personal 10-in pizza, 20 oz drink and a garden salad came out to over $20 before the tip. If I were to come back would I order a Pizza for takeout instead of dining in.

  WE tried Mattenga's a few weeks ago and it was the Best damn pizza ever. Watch out Pizza Hut, Dominoes and others, they got you beat. Going to order out and try the military location tonight. Great atmosphere, food, and people! Again today was as great as the first. Good Job, Great Pizza !

  If you like your pizza with personality and your cravings fully respected, Mattenga’s is the move. Walked in expecting “just another slice,” walked out questioning every other pizza decision I’ve ever made. The crust? Somehow both crispy and chewy like it went to culinary boot camp. The sauce actually tastes like tomatoes had a purpose in life. And the cheese? Let’s just say it stretched longer than my patience in traffic on I-35. Service was fast, friendly, and didn’t make me feel judged for ordering like I was feeding a small family (it was just me). The vibe is laid-back, no nonsense—exactly what you want when you’re about to commit to a serious pizza situation. 10/10 would absolutely risk a food coma again.

  From the moment you walk in, you can tell they care about quality—the place looks clean, the vibe is right, and the pizza? Next level. Fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and everything came out hot and fast. Huge shoutout to Edward, Jordan, and David—their customer service really stood out. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a spot that’s consistent, flavorful, and has a solid team behind it, Mattenga’s is definitely it. I’ll be back for sure. 🍕🔥

  Well Honestly speaking I was hopeful at first but letdown once I took my first bite. 🗣🍕 I was expecting a real pizza but once again fell very,very short of the mark ❌️🚫 Where do I start? The dough was alright, but like where's the sauce? Skimpy on the cheese & the razor thinned pepperoni slices plus miniscule meats like little specks of leftovers wasn't satisfying. I ordered the Family size & wanted it to be good,but it was just okay. Reading your back story about coming from the Southwest, with name made from both owners was cool 😎 Unfortunately, that pizzazz didn't carry on to the pizza 🍕 I'm originally from Chicago, where Pizza is very,very Competitive & a Serious Thing..🏙⛲️🌃 I'm sorry but this place is one and done for me.🚷 The only reason why I gave high marks is bcuz the cannoli was delicious. 🤌
