  Was at this location a couple of times, and had the plain glazed, custard filled doughnuts and a kolache. Both doughnuts are very decent, tasty doughnuts, but the kolache was served extremely hot. (I couldn't hold it let alone eat it until it cooled way down). Nevertheless, the food is good, and I appreciated the friendly servers. Usually, I am not heavily critical on food establishments, unless I recognize a real problem, so the main reason for the lowered rating was due to cost of products. A kolache is just a small piece of meat in a plain dough "wrapping", and doughnuts are just a simple treat food; so when a couple of doughnuts and a kolache cost nearly as much a full meal elsewhere, they are overpriced. Thank you for the clean establishment and the friendly staff, but I will not go back often due to cost.

  The location at 2703 SE military DR San Antonio TX 78223 is the absolute worst location I have ever been. Every time I go the donuts are cold almost frozen as if the donuts are grab & bake. The hot sign is NEVER on. I have gone multiple times each time the donuts are cold almost frozen. It’s been times were I go to HEB and grab their donuts over Krispy Kreme because we know they will be fresh and actually baked not from the freezer.YUCK!

  I guess it was a bad day. Four doughnuts left. I bought two. They were dry and expensive. The young man behind the counter was nice.

  Second time we stop by to get some donuts and they are out. Last time I wanted a dozen glazed to take to my kids school. Yesterday we stop by and they only had strawberry sprinkles. They dont make their donuts at this location. Im a Krispy Kreme client and the red light is never on. I haven't seen the machine on in at least 2 years. If you want donuts you are better driving to I-10.

  I go to San Antonio a few times a year for heart appointments. I always stop at Krispy Kreme because I live in Corpus and my kids like it. Stopped at this location as it’s on my way out. I ordered glazed and they gave it to me in 30 seconds. It was so fast I asked if they were fresh. They said yes. After my drive home….come to find out they looked and tasted like they were frozen and defrosted from the day before. Next time I go, definitely will stop at the other Krispy Kreme. Rather go out of my way for fresh donuts.
