    Very Disappointing Customer Service Experience I’m not rating the food because I never even got the opportunity to eat it. This was our first time at Jimmy John’s, and we approached the young cashier simply trying to figure out what to order. Since we weren’t familiar with the menu, we tried asking some questions about the menu. Instead of being helpful or welcoming, he was dismissive, abrasive, and seemed completely uninterested in assisting us. All we wanted was a little guidance so we could place an order, but the attitude we received made the experience unnecessarily frustrating. What should have been a simple interaction turned into a situation where we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by asking questions. Unfortunately, the manager was no better. When we tried to explain our concerns, the manager didn’t seem interested in actually listening or resolving the situation. There was no attempt to understand what had happened, apologize, or make the experience better. Customer service matters, especially when someone is visiting your restaurant for the first time. We walked in ready to spend our money and try the food, but the way we were treated made us decide to leave and eat elsewhere. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training on basic customer service, communication, and how to treat customers who are simply asking for help.

    Was hoping to take out and at this bulverde rd location at 9:30 P.M.. I approached the doors, and it was locked in. The whole crew team was already cleaning. Was hoping to get a quick bite after a long day. What’s the protocols for closing if the close time is 10pm… very sad.

    I used to come to this Jimmy John’s regularly, but I stopped because the customer service has consistently been terrible. In the past, my order was canceled because they ran out of bread, but instead of informing customers, the employees stayed inside cleaning while watching us wait outside and laughing. That experience alone made me avoid this location for months. Tonight, I decided to give this location another chance and placed a curbside order, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, I was met with the same level of disrespect. The employee who brought out my order had a very hostile attitude, shook his head while walking away, and even flicked off our car before going back inside. What makes this even more frustrating is that it appears to be the same mixed black guy working the night shift every time I’ve had these negative experiences. At this point, this is no longer just “bad customer service” — it’s repeated disrespect toward paying customers. Management seriously needs to address the behavior at this location because no customer should be treated this way.
