I was hangry, but the moment I stepped inside I was immediately welcomed with the smell of savory sandwiches and kind smiles. At the register the workers were so kind, asked about my day, and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. When I went to go sit down, someone offered to trade seats with me so I could have more room for my backpack. Everyone here was so kind, I will definitely be coming back!! Truly a magical experience. Made my day after having a rough week.

Yes, the sandwiches are consistently delicious, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming—but what makes this location truly special is the way they support our San Antonio community. Rob Thomas went above and beyond to support more than 100 Boy Scouts who were working in the pouring rain on a major service project benefiting our veterans at VFW Post 8541. That kind of generosity and community spirit says so much about the people behind a business. It is easy to leave a review when the food is good—and it absolutely is—but I think it is even more important to recognize businesses that choose to give back. If you are reading this and deciding where to spend your money, please remember how important it is to support the businesses that support our community. Rob Thomas and this Jimmy John’s location do exactly that. Thank you for the delicious sandwiches. Thank you for providing fresh, healthier choices. Thank you for supporting our Scouts and our veterans. And most of all, thank you for going the extra mile for San Antonio.
