  Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant and Margarita Bar An excellent restaurant with spectacular service and a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff speaks both English and Spanish, which makes the experience even better. Their food is delicious, especially the fajitas, and they also offer amazing drinks with and without alcohol. Located right along the River Walk, the restaurant has a beautiful terrace that makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.

  We had a totally awesome and unique experience. The selection of tequilas is excellent. We had a margarita that was by far the best I've ever had. The paella was amazing with muscles, shrimp, and scallops. The lobster sauce was amazing in it. And overall the dish was really tasty. My wife had the stacked pork enchiladas and they were amazing especially the fried egg. The Riverwalk is just a big tourist trap but the food here was reasonably priced, tasty, and the atmosphere was really really cool, especially if you like people watching. Kyle took good care of us and just made the experience all that much more special.

  Had such a great experience at Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant and Margarita Bar on the River Walk! Jennifer was our server and she was absolutely fabulous — friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. The strawberry margaritas were top notch, the tableside guacamole is an absolute must-order, and the Baja fish tacos were excellent. Of course I had to add a side of fries because… boy dinner! I also really appreciated that they don’t use seed oils and focus on fresh ingredients — you can genuinely taste the difference. Perfect River Walk spot with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

  Disappointed The lobster tacos have no texture of real lobster. Clump of gooey cheese. Chevice' should be crisp and refreshing. This was warm and lingering spices. Had the prickly pear margarita. It's about 8 oz for 16.00. some many choices on the Riverwalk to eat. I feel like I struck out

  We experienced this place while we were waiting for our room to be ready at Club Wyndham Riverside suites... The meal was beyond beautiful... We had just gotten off a very long flight... our server's name was Juan, not only did he go above and beyond in service.. He gave us a lot of information about what to do while we were in San Antonio. since it was our first time.. He should be recognized and commended... And we hope to come back and visit again soon!
