  I had a very disappointing experience with Hala Cafe. We ordered 4 plates of kebab, and all of them were cold, undercooked, and tasted like they had been sitting around for a long time. The rice portions were extremely small, and overall the food quality was unacceptable. It honestly felt like we were served leftovers straight from a pot. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend this place

  I’m a frequent customer and have always had great experiences, which is why I hesitated to leave this review. However, my most recent takeout order did not reflect the same standard. It was clear the food was not freshly prepared to order—the meats were dry, as if they had been reheated, and the naan was served cold. I was quite disappointed, as I expect consistency regardless of the day or how busy things may be. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps maintain the high standards I’ve come to expect.

  Literally, my favorite place to go to in the whole world like this with my favorite restaurant, but only are the owners completely involved and accommodating with their kind they remember you they even remember your order if I could recommend Mediterranean restaurant in San Antonio it would be this one. I know that there’s a lot and I know that you could say that other ones are larger but this one is intimate private fun. They even have belly dancers come on Saturdays and events. It’s just honestly kind of like feels like a little secret when you’re there oh and the hookah is amazing. The mango shake is amazing. I can’t think of anything that isn’t amazing.

  Went here for my birthday, good food and wait time is justified. Take out is good too and efficient.
