I recently visited the H-E-B at Brook Hollow in San Antonio, and my experience was just average. This location has many of the things you would expect from an H-E-B, including a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, a bakery, and prepared foods. The store was reasonably clean, and I was able to find most of the items on my shopping list without too much trouble. That said, there were a few things that kept this visit from being a better experience. The store felt very crowded, and the aisles became difficult to navigate, especially with multiple shoppers and employees stocking shelves at the same time. Some products I was looking for were out of stock, which was disappointing considering this is a popular location. I also noticed that a few checkout lines moved slower than expected, even though additional registers eventually opened. The employees I interacted with were polite enough, but customer service didn’t really stand out. I didn’t have any negative interactions, but I also didn’t feel like anyone went above and beyond to help. Parking can also be challenging during busy hours, so it’s worth planning your trip if possible. Overall, this H-E-B gets the job done and offers a solid selection of products, but the crowds, occasional stock issues, and slower checkout experience make it feel like an average grocery store visit rather than an exceptional one. I would shop here again if I was nearby, but I might choose a less busy H-E-B location when I have the option.

I love the fact that this HEB is small. I don't like the customer base that frequents it. I crossed in the crosswalk, two different times. People race through this parking lot. Inside the store I've been hit by customers. People seem really irate and crazy at this location. The parking lot is so sketchy. I would never leave anything of value in my car.
