- GGGenesis GomezJun 17, 20261.0I purchased a bag of IAMS Indoor Weight & Hairball Care from this H-E-B and later discovered that the bag had been slit open and taped over. As a pet owner, this is extremely concerning because pet food safety should be taken seriously. Open or damaged pet food should not be placed back on shelves for sale. I had to make an extra trip back to the store, which was especially inconvenient since I do not live nearby. While the store exchanged the bag and informed me they would speak to management, I was disappointed that damaged pet food was sold in the first place without any notice to customers. I hope the store reviews its procedures to ensure this does not happen again.
