    Be careful, LYING ON MEAT WEIGHT...Chicken thighs package said it was 5.20Lbs...checked it, it was 4.13LBS

    i always come here and have good service usually but this is the 2nd time i’ve came and have been unhappy with the checkers. a few months ago there was a steak on clearance but the sticker came off and it was going to expire in two days. i asked for the discount because why would i pay full price for a steak that clearly had a discount sticker on it that peeled off and the rest of the steaks next to it had stickers. the manager barely wanted to give me the clearance price and said something along the lines of “i can do the clearance price BUT people always move those stickers….” as if i was trying to pocket money on a steak that was going to expire in two days… he was a younger gentleman with glasses and brown hair who works at night. your checker veronica today 06/23 at 10 am was visibly annoyed by me and the non line she had. she did not look at me and asked how i was doing and i said fine, she then repeats herself in an ugly tone “I SAID HOW ARE YOU DOING” maam i have a sore throat and two children with me and barely wanted to come to this store but i had to since i was running out of a few essentials. there was barely any customers and no line and she looked like she had the life sucked out of her. the nighttime cashiers who are younger are more friendly. do better heb.

    There’s an ongoing issues with spoiled products at this HEB. On multiple occasions I’ve purchased items that were bad despite appearing fine on the outside. This includes vegetables that were rotten inside, ground beef that spoiled by the next day, and half-and-half that was already sour when opened. I’ve also noticed a strong rotten smell coming from the milk refrigerator doors in-store recently. I’m concerned about food safety practices, including proteins that are bad that appears to be heavily seasoned before sale. I haven’t reported single-item issues in the past, but the frequency has increased enough that I feel I need to speak up — for myself and other shoppers experiencing the same thing. I’d appreciate if this could be addressed with store management and quality control. I’m not asking for compensation, just that HEB stop selling spoiled food and ensure products meet basic freshness standards.

    I always go here cause the colleagues here are always on point. But today the service provided was exceptional. Hanna and Dwayne went above and beyond. Hanna helped me load my basket to the belt, was talking to my kids and being very friendly. Dwayne was the same way, very sweet to my girls. He got my oldest some buddy bucks, checked in to see if she won anything. Very personable. Over all an amazing experience where both people went above and beyond. I love my HEB!

    Parking is always crowded. The garden shop is well stocked with beautiful plants and trees. The in-stock of shelf merchandise is good. Was buying cake, ice-cream steaks for birthday gathering. The registers were busy but lots open as well as self checkout available. Checkout people were polite and friendly.
