  This is such a great grocery store. It's clean, well laid out, and has a nice variety. I get a kick out of all of the Texas-themed stuff as someone not from Texas.

  This new HEB is convenient since it’s close to my house (hence the one star for location) but after this experience I will be returning to HEB Plus. If you go to this location I would recommend checking the dates on your food. I purchased the package catfish nuggets on 06/12/26 at 7:48pm. I didn’t pay attention to the date on the nuggets and the next day 06/13/26 at 1:00 pm I went to cook them. Immediately when I open the package the smell was beyond noticeable. I immediately went back to HEB to report this and take them back. On the package it said good until 6/12/26. Considering I bought the catfish on 6/12/26 at 7:48pm — the package should have been removed from the shelf that morning. Even allowing the catfish to be sold after 12pm on the expiration date is a health violation. While I did not have any hassle from the service desk when I returned the catfish and asked for a refund — there was also no remorse, accountability or apology from them. What if I didn’t smell the fish, what if I would have ate that. Food is expensive and selling expired seafood is terrible service. I will no longer purchase seafood from here.

  There is a time and place for everything and the grocery store is NOT a place for your pet dog. Keep your pets at home. HEB needs to do better about regulating these instances. This is very unsanitary.

  The new HEB is great easy to get to and has everything plus a gas station at good price staff and management are very friendly and helpful I so appreciate them from JT
