  I order some catering (sandwiches) asked for no pork as I am allergic and everything was perfect!! The deli was super sweet kind and understanding with the allergy. I had originally order from the bandera location and they got my order completely wrong and told me basically too bad BUT this location is amazing!! So happy finally got to celebrate my birthday with the sandwiches I’ve been waiting for as a treat!! :) Edit: Chris placed the order and did an amazing job making sure no pork was in the order! Please give Chris the recognition he deserves! Also sandwiches were delicious!

  The most hospitable staff I have seen in a long time . I like to get my protein from the meat market . If they do not have what I want , they get it for me . Everyone is helpful and polite . I was in the restaurant business for 35 years and I know great guest service and it is at The HEB at The Alon .

  Sebastian saved me from an embarassment not of my own, as pos system failed. Christina ushered a solved remedy. This being aside from our union travels, where found HEB--especially this one--exceeds. Also, household pizza saves lives.

  Usually I always go this HEB with my service dog, but when I went the other day with my dog a random employee walked up to me. I don’t know if the guy was a manger or lead, he didn’t address himself he just walked up saying dogs weren’t allowed inside what so ever and to never bring my dog inside again. While he’s saying this I see at LEAST five people walk by with their dogs inside of baskets and walking around the store. I even walked up to one lady asking if anything was said to her and she stated “no I always bring my dog here”. I felt very targeted and disappointed to even be treated that way.

  I love this and every HEB that carries Kosher items even though Austin and Houston have an extended variety and a kosher deli. We live in the RGV in Edinburg, Texas we have to drive 4 -5 hours to get our kosher meat, deli etc. We have been looking for a store that offers kosher. I eould love for at least one HEB here in RGV takes note of this only one manager in Freddy in Edinburg paid attention to my concerns and has told me if I bring the upc and package that she would try to help. Please HEB you have no idea how many of us will purchase. I went to HEB in north 10th and all I found was tge Kedem biscuits, juice, matzo and gelt and for matzo. We want deli cuts, cheese and meat, chicken and tge kosher rostisiree cicken like Austin
