Walking through the doors reminds me of the flagship H-E-B in San Marcos—the same great atmosphere, incredible selection, and fresh products everywhere you look. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist. You can tell they take pride in keeping the store spotless and the shelves fully stocked. The produce is always fresh, the bakery smells amazing, and the meat and seafood departments are top-notch. Shopping here is actually enjoyable because everything is organized, the quality is outstanding, and the employees make you feel welcome. H-E-B continues to set the standard for grocery stores, and the Guilbeau location is a perfect example of why. Keep up the fantastic work!

It was OK to wait for her, but no settling that she never acknowledged my presence. She kept moving as if I were not there nor gave recognition that I was patiently waiting to continue shopping. I will continue to shop here, but be grateful if this matter is addressed. And for better clarity, of the lack of... I got sushi, and because no one engage me, I was not able to procure chopsticks.

- BMBobby McClurgJun 21, 20265.0Since I finally had the shrimp plate a couple of months ago from the seafood boil tents at most HEBs, I decided to grab me one on the way home from work on Saturday, the 20th. The closest one was here. I got in line and there were a couple of people in front of me. No biggie, the food is worth the wait! I noticed Aaron, who was doing his best taking care of the customers, seemed to be swamped. Come to find out, the moment his coworker left for lunch, the tent got busy. And not only that, some of his equipment stopped working. 😲 Yet, he didn't miss a beat! He was still friendly and courteous. He explained the issues, was determined to press forward and serve the customers. The technical issues didn't last long, his coworker came back and Aaron continued to provide excellent customer service! And my shrimp plate was just as delicious as ever! Without question, the shrimp plate from HEB boil tent is pound for pound the best deal going.... PERIOD!! Can't wait to get it again next week!!
