- JHJessica H.May 31, 20261.0I just left Walmart because they had all their makeup locked up and came to HEB because usually the service is better and they don't lock anything up. My daughter asked me to get a few makeup items for her while I was at HEB. I was looking for what my daughter wanted and wasn't quite sure where it was. There was an employee stocking makeup and I asked her where the product was. The lady said, "oh, we probably don't have it." And I said, "my daughter gets it here all the time." And she said, "at this HEB? She's probably getting it at another HEB." My daughter is 15 and not yet driving. She walks to this HEB all the time. I said, "she gets it from this HEB." And the lady said, "I don't know what to tell you. We don't have it." I know she can look it up; I've seen them do it before, but she refused. I found the item my daughter wanted myself; HEB does, in fact, have it at the location I was at. The employee just didn't want to deal with it. That's exactly how the Walmart employees are. Usually, I have a very good experience at HEB. But these retail workers who literally refuse to do their jobs and tell the customer they don't carry the item without even looking it up, especially when they DO in fact have the item, is ridiculous. I didn't get her name but hopefully you can look at the cameras and hear that interaction. It was absolutely unacceptable. My daughter will no longer be getting items from this HEB and neither will I.
