  I went shopping at this HEB October 7 I use the self checkout had a problem with my card Akayla came out of nowhere and helped me with my transaction very helpful and friendly.. Thank you for the help. After shopping I needed change for a twenty and went to the customer service desk and was greeted by Stephanie Gaiter with the biggest smile and great personality i could tell she takes pride in her job she said how can i help you today? I told her i needed change and a lottery ticket, great service is hard to find anywhere these days but these young ladies raised the bar as far as customer service is concerned… Update Oct 11 another fantastic interaction with Yadira with help at the self checkout Great job keep up the fantastic service!! Hats off to these three employees for providing a wonderful experience at HEB Austin Highway..

  I love H‑E‑B for a lot of things, and I don’t know a better place to shop. But more than 80% of the time the coupons don’t work, forcing me to wave down an employee to correct the price manually or to just pay full price for something they guaranteed me would be discounted hassle-free. I could overlook this at a small-town store with limited resources. But H‑E‑B brings in fifty billion dollars annually and even manufactures its own batteries. At this scale, allowing the same problem to happen this consistently feels either inexcusably negligent or intentional. Those yellow tags shouldn’t be called coupons. They’re discounts you can receive—provided you have enough time to waste getting them honored.

  I moved to San Antonio Tx about three years ago , from Louisiana. I had never heard of HEB grocery stores before. Now HEB is the only grocery store I will use to buy my groceries. The selection of everything really blows my mind ! The already prepared items are great . From chicken to sushi I have not found anything that I did not like. They always have great prices on the items I need most. The Produce is always fresh And the coupons really help. The stores are always clean . The employees are always helpful and polite. And this goes for every HEB grocery store I have been to. And one more thing all the stores are nice and cool coming from the heat outside , makes grocery shopping a much better experience.

  I was checked out by a girl named Cynthia. This was a horrible experience. I had to wait in line behind someone for ten minutes while they fixed something. When they finally started checking me out Cynthia never once greeted me. She didnt even give me the opportunity to tell her I had a favor order qr code for her to scan first. When she had to call a manager over to fix this she rolled her eyes and huffed. Throughout the whole transaction she did not even acknowledge me once. She didnt greet me, she didnt offer an apology, and she didnt say have a nice day or anything. She didnt even look at me. She was even super rude to her manager when he came over to help. This is the rudest cashier ive ever encountered and wont ever come back here.
