Grocery StoreH-E-B
The three-year, wall-to-wall remodel and expansion of the Lincoln Heights Market H-E-B is complete. Highlights include a larger fresh produce department with over 250 organic options. Other fresh enhancements feature a dry-aged beef selection along with a full-service seafood assortment stocked daily by H-E-B’s fish mongers. An expanded Meal Simple selection provides shoppers with ready to heat and eat meal options. H-E-B Alamo Heights also has a standalone cheese shop with cheeses from 13 countries, along with a self-service olive bar. The store’s expanded bakery offers scratch-made breads and freshly made tortillas. There’s also a True Texas BBQ restaurant serving Texas-style barbecue that is slow smoked over natural Texas oak wood.

Fresh, truly fresh produce! I always find everything on my grocery list AND MORE. I can't live without my HEB.

It's hard to believe this is the same H-E-B after the renovation. The store may be larger, but it has lost much of the warmth and community feel that made shopping here enjoyable. The customer service department is gone, the outdoor plants and seasonal displays have disappeared, and the store itself feels noticeably darker inside, with less lighting than before. The employees are still friendly, but what was once a welcoming neighborhood grocery store now feels more like a large warehouse. I can still get what I need, but the experience has become much more transactional and far less inviting. I wish the old Texas-friendly, family friendly experience could be brought back.

A huge thank you to Kate and Ayrn (apologies if I misspelled), but when I called to let them know I was missing my bakeware after leaving the store, they personally delivered it to my door (I live nearby) so I wouldn't have to stop what I was doing. Ya'll saved dessert and made my day! Thank you ladies again!

for this being considered a higher class H-E-B compared to the H-E-B on 24th St. and Culebra the Fruit there is horrible there Is Fungus growing off the strawberries, and peaches. I come here a lot, but I will not be going back until this problem is fixed

I shop at this H-E.B. regularly and have always had positive experiences, which made today's interaction even more disappointing. Jackie C provided some of the worst customer service I've experienced at this location. Instead of focusing on customers, she seemed far more interested in carrying on a conversation with a coworker while I was actively trying to complete my transaction. Her attitude came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping customers. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but when you're representing a business, professionalism still matters. The lack of attention, poor customer service, and overall negative demeanor left a bad impression and made what should have been a simple checkout unnecessarily frustrating. I hope management addresses this because one employee's behavior can significantly impact an otherwise great shopping experience.
