  I like this store n the items are convenient for my liking. it's the store employees that stare at customers as if there intentions are to steal. I hate the stares makes me uncomfortable 😣

  Disappointed in customer service. My husband has cashed his check here at this exact HEB for almost 9 months weekly! Today the same girl Bri was at the service desk and she turned him away due to the fact that his middle name was not completely spelled out on his check as it was written on his Drivers license due to their new rule where name has to match exactly! News to us we were just there last Friday cashing a check! Drove to the next HEB and guess what, no problem! No issue! Instead they apologized for this HEB customer service. I then placed a call asked for the manager, Ben got on the phone and I calmly stated what occurred and he said Bri was following their protocol and I then asked him how long this protocol has been in place… his response 10 years but some HEB are not as strict…. I then informed him that there has to be another issue at hand because he has cashed his check there for almost 9 months every Friday! I was met with silence. Their lack of customer service shows and I felt the very need to voice this. This used to be my home HEB now I’ll drive to Jones and give them our business. By the way HUGE SHOUT OUT TO BILLY @ Jones thank you!!!

  STOP! today i left the wallmart neighborhood grocery store to get other things at HEB,i got into it with the employees because a dog was in the cart,yet again dogs constantly in this store HEALTH CODE VIOLATION And unlawful.you can get sick from contaminated food! I get to HEB and pull up! And yet another dog in HEB!! I was fuming,told the employee did not have time to tell the manager.the ONLY dogs allowed in a GROCERY STORE are bonified service dogs! Not emotional support animals! Service dogs! This is our food people use your common sense and follow health code regulations and the law please,i was so disqusted over this today

  This isn't about HEB. It's about a staff member, who did above and beyond and she should be recognized. I have a client who got lost on his way to my store and he ended up at this HEB. He is in his 80s, he has no phone, he has some disabilities. He showed up at this HEB and was at a disadvantage. But, someone noticed, a security guard. Now, she could have said hey, you can't park here unless you're a customer, or she could have just said no when he said he had no phone but needed help. But she helped him, she found him a place to sit and she let him use her phone to call for assistance. In this case, he called me and I was able to come to him, and with the guards help, we found him on a scooter wandering around the store. She went above and beyond and that is rare these days. She gets 5 stars for being an exceptional person, which should be expected but it is not these days. Thank you and I hope HEB takes notice of your abilities to perceive issues, exhibit situational awareness and your empathy and compassion to those in need of assistance. Thank you Alma.
