Lately, it’s starting to feel like every other drive-thru around here. More often than not, my order is missing something. When I call, the response is always, “Just come back and we’ll make it right.” While I appreciate the offer, it’s frustrating to have to make another trip just to get what I already paid for. The whole point of using the order pick up is convenience. The food itself is really good when everything is right, but the inconsistency is becoming a recurring problem. I have a hard time believing management isn’t aware of it, yet nothing seems to be changing. It honestly makes me sad because I genuinely love Flaming Bird and want to see them succeed. I hope they can improve the consistency because the food deserves a much better experience.

The meat itself had no flavor. There was macaroni in my bean. The rice was good. I don’t think I will try the Flaming Bird at the HEB at Potranco and 1604 again though. Very disappointing. My daughter ordered separately and asked for a chicken bowl, but got a beef bowl with queso.
