- JWJacquelyn WelchJun 15, 20262.0I ordered a chicken plate and paid extra for a breast. The breast was more wing than breast. The chicken was dry and the only flavor was in the skin. The meat itself had no flavor. There was macaroni in my bean. The rice was good. I don’t think I will try the Flaming Bird at the HEB at Potranco and 1604 again though. Very disappointing. My daughter ordered separately and asked for a chicken bowl, but got a beef bowl with queso.

Young lady named Aileen was so attentive and helpful while i was trying to decide between which combo to get. Was giving me her favorite items off the menu. Family was more than pleased with the delicious chicken she helped me decide on. Will always return to this location, if your getting anything from flaming bird make sure to ask for Aileen!!! Truly the best worker there.
