    My experience at the Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins located at 12311 Nacogdoches Rd. was very disappointing because the policies were applied inconsistently. The employee helping us appeared to be the manager, which made the experience even more frustrating. My cousin and I came in around 8:45 p.m. She had a coupon for $2 off a large frozen beverage in the Baskin-Robbins app. When she asked if she could use it, the manager told her no because it could only be used on the Dunkin' side, and she said the Dunkin' side was already closed. However, the posted hours showed Dunkin' didn't close until 9:00 p.m., so it was still open. My cousin even asked why the coupon was in the Baskin-Robbins app if it couldn't be used there, and the manager simply said she didn't know and that it didn't matter because that side was closed. Because of this, my cousin paid full price for an Oreo shake. I had the exact same coupon, so I looked it up to make sure it was valid. I then ordered a large coconut frozen beverage, scanned the same type of coupon, and the manager applied the $2 discount without any issue. It made no sense that my identical coupon was accepted while my cousin's identical coupon had just been denied. What made the situation even more frustrating was that around 9:10 p.m.—after the Dunkin' side had actually closed—a customer came in and the same manager went over to the Dunkin' side, took his order, and sold him donuts and a drink. If orders could be taken after closing, there was no reason my cousin couldn't have used her coupon before closing. Lastly, that same customer had two dogs with him, and the manager allowed them to jump up on the service counter while she was petting and scratching them. Seeing animals on the counter where food and drinks are served was very concerning from a sanitation standpoint. Overall, the inconsistent treatment, confusing explanation about the coupon, and the food safety concern left a very poor impression. I hope management reviews this situation so customers receive consistent service and proper food handling practices.

    Being required to select a tip amount as the first thing you see when making payment is a new low. Three people behind the counter, best described as chaos.

    I can't wait for robots to take these peoples jobs specifically. How hard is it to make sure the lid is all the way on the hot drink? I hate to even be on here leaving a review but holy these people suck at their very easy jobs, and I could be more understanding if it was highschoolers failing at their entry level position tasks but these are fully grown adults that cant do these tasks. Pathetic establishment.

    “Unprofessional experience. If a business accepts cash, it should be able to provide proper change—no exceptions. Instead, customers are left short or forced into awkward workarounds because management hasn’t equipped their staff with the basic tools to do their job. To be clear, this is not the employee’s fault. The attendant was polite and doing their best, but they were set up to fail. This is a management and operational issue, plain and simple. What’s more concerning is that this seems to be happening more and more everywhere. If businesses are going to move away from coins or certain denominations, then pricing needs to reflect that with a clear, consistent rounding policy. You can’t have it both ways—accept cash but not be prepared to handle it properly. Customers shouldn’t be expected to absorb the difference or just ‘deal with it.’ That’s not good service, and it’s not good business. Situations like this erode trust and push people away. Management needs to fix this—either properly stock registers and support your employees, or stop accepting cash altogether. Right now, it sends the message that customer experience isn’t a priority.”
