I've always wanted to try this place and finally had the opportunity. Oh my goodness it is so delicious. I ordered the harissa avocado bowl add tzatziki, extra red onions and add garlic dressing on top. Deja is a very bubbly and engaging employee. She made the experience memorable. I can't wait to come back.

Extremely disappointed with my experience here. The staff were incredibly rude, unfriendly, and made us feel completely unwelcome. Customer service was absolutely unacceptable, and the attitude we received left a very bad impression. I came here expecting to enjoy a meal, but instead left frustrated and disappointed. There are plenty of other restaurants where customers are treated with basic courtesy and respect, so I definitely will not be coming back to this place again. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this restaurant. The staff were not friendly and came across as quite rude and unwelcoming. Good customer service makes a big difference when dining out, and unfortunately, that was missing during my visit. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and would not be in a hurry to return.

I come here for lunch at least twice a week and everything is always great! Today, unfortunately I ran into a shorter male with a beard who was building the bowls and oh man you can tell he was not happy working. Not even a Hello or anything just looks at me to start building the bowls, and I didn’t think much of it. But then I asked for two scoops of Braised lamb like I always do, and the scoops he gives me was honestly so insane, probably not even a whole scoop. I asked him “is that two scoops?” And he just says yeah and slides my bowl to the next person. Every other worker was great but I honestly should’ve walked away when I saw those scoops. $26 for not even a full scoop of lamb is absurd, and the guy doing this should just leave his job if he’s gonna be hating it the whole time and ruining others day.

I usually love CAVA—the food is delicious, and I really appreciate the variety of ingredients and drinks they offer. Unfortunately, my experience today, Friday around 4:00 p.m., was very unpleasant. There was a line of customers waiting to be served, but one of the employees seemed completely disengaged from the situation and was focused on restocking items that, from a customer’s perspective, did not seem urgent at that moment. When she finally started serving customers, her attitude felt very unfriendly and impersonal—almost as if she was operating like a machine and forgetting that there were people on the other side of the counter. After my bowl was finally prepared, I had to wait again. I asked who the manager was, and she told me that she was the manager. She explained that there were only two people working and that she had sent the other employee to help customers who were just arriving. I told her that I did not understand the way the situation was being handled and that we had already been waiting for quite some time. Unfortunately, her response was not helpful or respectful. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and I felt that her attitude toward me was unnecessarily rude. In the end, it was the other employee who came over to help me and complete my order. I am a customer, and I left feeling uncomfortable, mistreated, and disappointed. I understand that restaurants can be busy and that employees can be under pressure. What I don’t think a customer should have to experience is a lack of basic courtesy and empathy. When someone takes a break to have a meal, they should be able to leave feeling welcomed and respected—not frustrated and mistreated. I still love CAVA’s food, but today’s customer service experience was very disappointing.
