  I can here to San Antonio for business for the week. I have been trying different restaurants each day to experience the food scene here In SA. There in Dallas/Fort Worth, we have an amazing food scene. I’d say some of the best in the world. This restaurant competes with that 100%. This experience I had today was hands down top 10 for me. Everything was fantastic! My order was the scallops and the bavette steak and frites. Amazing all around!! I definitely recommend this place. Severely underrated.

  Had an amazing first experience! We were warmly welcomed by Fabien and serviced by Antonio. Both were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and overall exceptionally hospitable. Upon some recommendations, we had the lobster bisque, baguette, onion tart, salade niçoise, salade d’endives & poires blue d’auvergne, creme brulee, and mocha pot de creme - all so delicious! Our wine and mixed drinks were masterful as well! Certainly looking forward to our return.

  Hello, I want to share my deep disappointment with the experience my family and I had during our recent visit to your restaurant. After waiting a considerable amount of time just to secure a reservation, we expected at least a decent dining experience. Instead, it turned out to be one of the worst we’ve had. Despite arriving at 2 PM—well within normal lunch hours—we were told that there were no steaks available, along with most of the dishes listed on the menu. When I asked what options were left, the waitress simply said, "We only have chicken and salad." When I asked why so many items were unavailable in the middle of the day, her response was, "I don't know." There was no attempt to explain, apologize, or offer alternatives. When I expressed my disappointment and informed her that we would be leaving, she showed no concern whatsoever. The lack of professionalism and care was extremely disheartening. What made this even more upsetting is that it was Mother’s Day, and my mom had traveled from another country—after ten years of not seeing each other. This was supposed to be a special moment, and instead it became a frustrating and embarrassing experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issues with both inventory management and customer service so that no other family has to go through something similar. Sincerely, Yezer

  Surprisingly, one of the best steak in San Antonio. We finally visited Brasserie Mon Chou Chou at the Pearl, and we’re still thinking about that meal. Believe it or not, this was easily a TOP 3 steak experience for us in the city! The Vibe: Pure Art Nouveau magic. It’s fun, charming, and feels like a portal to Paris. The service was 10/10—on point all night. Sandwich au Fromage Raclette: We added the ham and it was the perfect, melty start. The Star: NY Strip with cognac peppercorn sauce. Perfectly cooked and absolutely packed with flavor. 5 stars across the board! Our only gripe was the seating felt a bit crowded/less private, but the food and service more than made up for it.. Highly recommend for date night.

  This establishment is lucky enough to have one of the best servers I’ve come across! There are servers who are good because they know the menu, there are servers who are good because of their cheerful attitude. That’s all fine and dandy. What sets Marc apart from the rest?His attention to detail and his authenticity. He was able to tell me how everything was made for anything I asked which was great and helpful. But I truly understood how good at his job he is by how he serviced my 3 year old. He was careful to set the scorching hot plate far from her, he spoke to her with respect and care, he suggested adding strawberries to her vanilla ice cream when she wanted strawberry ice cream. I loved all of that. I LOVED how even with a 3 year old at my table it was never messy thanks to Marc. Now that I’m home it feels like my experience at Mon Chou Chou was amazing because of the excellent service and the food being innovative and authentic French Cuisine was the cherry on top. The Skate wing special was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced! I’m very glad I chose this restaurant:)
