The server we had wasn't that good for my cousin to leave a 25% tip. She was maybe worth a 15-20% but not even a full 20%. She didn't have any enthusiasm to her. She wasn't rude, just very robotic like. I would come for the food. But if i got the same server or one like her, they will get the tip they deserve from me, NOT the overly nice tip for not good service.

Long wait but was worth it, ordered their chicken fried steak and has to be one of the best I’ve ever had. Was seasoned perfectly, butter pecan praline sounded great but preferred the peach cobbler pancake instead. I got the fried green tomato’s and whatever sauce they served with it was perfect
This past weekend my wife and I had breakfast at Bobbie's for the first time. As we walked through the door the host greeted us with a pleasant smile and made us feel at home. 20 seconds later our waitress approached the table with the same pleasant tone and help with our order with suggestions. When the food arrived by the food runner, again the most pleasant, helpful person you could wish for. This type of service is what lacks in all industries. Now, as for the food, when you hear southern cooking in our city, typically it lacks true southern food quality but not at Bobbie's you truly understand southern cooking, it's fresh, hot, savory and most of all filling. The food was seasoned beautifully which I find uncommon in most restaurants to save a dollar. We cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience and we will be loyal customers. We have scheduled a brunch with friends for this weekend and without a doubt will be at Bobbie's.
No wait time to get seated. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I had coffee which was about what you’d expect from diner coffee. Not good, but not terrible. I ordered the mushroom and spinach omelette. It took 6-8 minutes from ordering to arrive and came out hot. The filling was tasty and the vegetables were fresh. The eggs weren’t overcooked , however it all lacked seasoning. Just a touch more salt with a little pepper would have elevated it.
My wife got the meat lovers plate and had a disappointing experience. The bacon was not fried to order and tasted like it had been mass cooked much earlier in the day. The sausage tasted like a frozen patty. The ham was not fresh, and tasted like processed lunch meat. The hash browns were under-seasoned.
Not a spot I’d be a regular at by any means.
Was was looking for a True homemade chop steak and found this place to be an imposter trying to make it look like a homemade Chop steak, but basically a piece of hamburger with gravy and a few onions thrown on top. Green beans were not flavorful at all side salad was basically a small bowl of lettuce with some Italian dressing no cheese, cucumbers, even small tomatoes at all was very disappointed for this being called home cooking.
