  I’ve been wanting to visit Blush for a while, so I decided to stop by solo for my birthday. Overall, the experience was mixed. Starting with service: it wasn’t the best. My waitress, Jen, was the exception, she was genuinely kind and the highlight of my visit. I also briefly interacted with Marcus, who was also kind. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff came off as a bit dismissive and at times, rude. For example, when my complimentary birthday drink was brought out, he said like “you have the birthday drink?” I was excited and said yes. And he just set it down. Like idk tell me if I’m being dramatic but no simple happy birthday or nothing 😭. When I left to the bakery the lady at the counter said “bye 😑🙄😒”. As for the food, I was told everything was fresh, but my experience didn’t fully reflect that. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and while the flavor was good, it was served cold, which made it hard to enjoy. The truffle fries weren’t great at all, they were soft and not crispy at all. On a positive note, they were at least hot. The coffee, however, was delicious and definitely a standout. I’d be open to giving Blush another try, maybe for brunch, to see if I have a better experience next time.

  This was straight up awful my teenage boy who eats and eats received this tiny burger and said it was hard to eat My omelette was like warm and I struggled to finish I kept getting wafts of a homeless man who peed himself - I don’t know if we were seated next to the trash or what With the smell and lukewarm eggs and stale bread I was getting grossed out The service was nice but go to Cullums Attaboy instead - thy are the real deal

  Be sure to come here with a Reservation. (2) young ladies at the front upon arrival immediately asked us rudely how they could help me and my family, like we commuted a crime not having a reservation. Last I don’t know why the great reviews on the Benedict, it was not as advertised, kids breakfast was mediocre. It’s basically all hype with a makeshift atmosphere that is lacking true character. Nothing like old San Antone. Sad🥲 was looking forward to something different.

  Omg I’m still at the restaurant, haven’t even ordered my food but my waitress, Jennifer, is the best server I’ve ever had!! She is so nice and when I complained about us having to throw away our drinks and someone else had outside drinks casually on their table she was so accommodating. If anyone is reading this review and comes to Blush ask for Jennifer, she has amazing energy!

  You can tell by the flavor that the food is carefully selected with natural ingredients! My burger was cooked well and flavorful but I wish I had the veggies to go with it. I also ordered the side salad but it was really romaine on the side so I returned it lol. The bread basket came with a great assortment of butters and breads and it was really good according to our guests. The service was slower than usual but it was it was still good. Shout out to Jennifer for being so patient with our party of 10. The ambience was really busy and loud & they were playing some upbeat music.
