Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SRSylvia RamerizAug 4, 20264.0I quit stopping at the rusk location because they let cars in drive thru sit forever and the food always tastes like it's been sitting for hours. But I got desperate and stopped in for a biscuit combo. Imagine my surprise when a woman, I guess a manager because she had on a striped shirt, came up to me and told me she had 2 biscuits but they had been there a bit and she had more in the oven that would be out in 3. Would i mind waiting. Absolutely! Not only that, the eggs were fresh. She was friendly and smiling. So I came back on a Monday. She wasn't there and it wasn't good. The eggs were old. But when i showed up again Saturday night.. my burger was hot and fresh. Same sweet woman in the kitchen. Not only that I heard her tell the person I guess in the drive thru to stop leaving customers at the speaker. Yall dogs right by this one and I will be back. Just want to know when she's working
