Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Over the years I go to Whataburger less and less.
The service is laughable.
Counter people cant count change cant spell your name correctly even when you spell it for them 3 times. When I arrive I always say this order is to go. When finished they always ask is it dine in or take out. Always have to repeat my order to them 3 times in hope of getting what I want. And why does ot take 3x longer to get your order when you dine in compared to drive through. Not saying drive through fast. When Whataburger does it right which is rare they have a good product
So if you decide on Whataburger good luck.

The worst Whataburger drive thru! They have one employee during the afternoon shift that hustles and works hard, the rest (especially the night shift) are slow and rude. Had a drive through employee that didn't put my order in when I placed it at the speaker (after waiting 6-7 minutes to even be spoken to) then when I got to the window he asked me my order again. I told him and asked if he didn't put it in the first time. His response? If you want to get your order maybe you should come inside instead of being lazy. I am handicapped. When I pointed that out to him he said "there's a ramp" and walked away. I sat there for 15 minutes without seeing him or any other employee. I finally just left. This was a horrible experience. Also add this location has the saltiest fries ever. Previous times I've been we ended up throwing them all out. Figured maybe a new employee was just getting a little salt happy. Nope, it's just this location. Not expecting fast service from a Whataburger but their service is appalling.
