I read several reviews about this place, most of which were pretty good so my wife and I decided to try it.
Well, If you like loud cafeteria like atmosphere, then this might be your place, as long as you don't want good service and affordable eating.
We got seated and I said dang it's loud in here. My wife looked at the menu and said wow the mimosas are $11 and the ones where we usually go are $4. Then she goes, I've watched 3 couples get seated and drink orders taken since we sat down and we have yet to have any service. So I said come on let's go!
I can't tell you if the food was any good or not. It looked good. But we'll never know!

New chain in town. The food is good. The service was a little overbearing, constantly asking if everything was ok. We had to send the French toast sticks back because they did not leave off the powdered sugar, but since the food runners are separate from the wait staff, she didn't know about that mistake. The furniture felt used and uncomfortable. It's not a big building, yet they had 3 people working the check-in area. Tables are on the small side and large parties might be very hard to accommodate. The whole atmosphere just had a weird feeling about it. Part packed club, part restaurant, which overshadowed some good breakfast foods.

This is the place you need to be if you love a good breakfast. The wait was exactly as long as the hostess said it would be. The food was hot, delicious and full of flavor. I loved that the hashbrowns were a casserole with cheesy goodness and not an after thought side. The shrimp and grits had tons of flavor and even a little kick to them. The salmon with the hollandaise sauce was plentiful and fresh with a nice sauteed spinach accompanying it. The staff made sure we were satisfied with our food and made sure our coffees and waters were filled regularly. I have recommended The Toasted Yolk to several family and friends already.

My husband ordered the Biscuit and Gravy with Eggs. The biscuits were very heavy, and the sausage gravy had very little sausage. The soft scrambled eggs that were supposed to come with it were completely missing.
I had the Brisket Scramble, which sounded great—12-hour smoked brisket, eggs, jalapeños, onions, cheddar, topped with house-made queso. However, the queso was poured directly into the container instead of being served on the side, which made the dish messy and poorly presented. Flavor-wise, it was just okay.
The grits were the highlight, but everything else was mediocre at best.
This wasn’t a delivery issue—this was about preparation and attention to detail 🤦🏾♀️

BEST BENEDICT EGGS I EVER HAD! We’re new in the community and it was our first time trying this place. Best choice ever made! The people were so attentive and kind! And the restaurant is so Cozy! Now its gonna be my favorite restaurant for having lunch! I ordered some West Coast Arnold and my husband got Brisket tacos! IT WAS SO DELICIOUS THAT I HAVE TO STOP AND TAKE A PICTURE HALF WAY EATING LOL. Ive never tried hash brown casserole in my life and this was the perfect side for me! So delicious, so tasty… I super recommend!
