Warning: Do not go to this Sonic. After waiting forever food consistently comes out cold. Employees here do not care one bit.

Paid about $60 on Sonic website, plus tipped driver $10. Had not read all the extremely negative Google reviews for this Sonic location. We live only 4 minutes away from this Sonic, yet all our food arrived completely cold and greasy. They did not send all the items we ordered and paid for, and not even a single napkin or a single straw to drink with. Not even a drop of ketchup, mustard or any of the sauces we ordered and paid for. Called the Sonic to get help and the employee said, “What do ya want me to do?” She handed the phone to her boss. Her boss told me there’s nothing she was going to do to help and told me I’d have to call DoorDash even though this was completely the fault of the employees at this Sonic. I had used the Sonic app so didn’t even know this was going through DoorDash. But regardless, DoorDash is usually just fine in our area. So I called the DoorDash because the manager at Sonic said she wasn’t going to do anything to help. Wow. The customer service people at DoorDash (who were very nice btw) said “We’ll have to call that Sonic location and find out what happened.” So the DoorDash operator put me on hold while she called and called this Sonic store on Gattis School Road - but no one at the store would even answer the phone! But this awesome DoorDash operator didn’t give up. After a few minutes she patched me into a call she’d made to Sonic’s Customer Service at their Corporate HQ Office (also very nice people.) Corporate Sonic determined this was the fault of their own people who work at the Sonic on Gattis School Road. They apologized and made it right. I called the delivery driver to whom I had tipped $10 to find out what happened and to be sure he kept his tip since this was not at all his fault that all I had for my $60 was a cold bag of completely greasy squishy food no one was going to eat. The driver was super nice and also apologized. He said he went to pick up my food when the people at Sonic had said it would be ready. After arriving at Sonic they made him wait and wait for over 15 more minutes after he got there! They just kept telling him “it’s not ready yet, you’ll have to wait.” So after having arrived at Sonic to pick up our order, he had to keep waiting there another 15 minutes and still every single item in our order that wasn’t completely missing was completely cold. Not even one item in that bag was even the least-bit warm. And it was only a 4-minute drive to our house in Forest Creek from the Sonic Drive-In on Gattis School Road. So DoorDash did their job just fine. But the folks at this Sonic on Gattis School Road in Round Rock did a terrible lazy job and didn’t do anything to get us any warm food or any of the items they left out of our order. We have always loved Sonic for decades, so hopefully the people who run this specific location will have a talk with their staff and tell them to either step it up or hit the road so good people who care and have a little pride in their work and come take their jobs. If the people working at this location simply don’t like and don’t want to do their jobs, then they should quit and go to work somewhere else or just stay home. There are plenty of nice hard-working people who would find a way (like all of us do) to enjoy their time at work and do a great job while they’re at it! The phone number for the Sonic Corporate Customer Service Office in case anyone ever needs it can be easily found by searching Google for Sonic Customer Service. They were very, very helpful at Sonic HQ even though having to deal with this took a total of 45 minutes on the phone out of my Sunday afternoon.

I'm sorry, this was disgusting. Bread - dry, eggs super thin, cheese - even more thin, AND old. Eggs were very obviously old as well. Lady at night also tried to pretend like she didn't see us in our car at the window, so theres that. Very disgusted in the food quality and "service" we recieved.

I had a very disappointing customer service experience with Carmen at Sonic while picking up a mobile order. The first time she answered the intercom, she was rude, but I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt. When I spoke with her again, she rudely told me that I needed to use the drive-thru, even though there were no other customers at the location. Customer service should be a top priority for any business. Employees represent the company, and every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. There was no reason for the interaction to be handled in such an unprofessional manner. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that additional customer service training is provided so future customers have a more positive experience.
