I don't think I've ever had this bad of an experience at an Outback ever. First the place was almost empty, I was seated and had to wait 10 minutes before the server even showed up. Took my order 15 minutes later still no food. At about the 20 minute mark the food shows up cold clearly had been sitting under the heat lamp for at least 10 minutes judging by how cold the steak was. The chicken on the salad was cold and dry so clearly reheated at least once but could have been twice. It was bad. I would just go next store to BJ's I know I will next time.

Terrible pickup experience. The side takeaway door was locked, so I called the number posted on the door, only to be told I was going to be transferred to someone in takeaway and be put on hold for 15 minutes. It makes zero sense to have a dedicated to-go phone number if it doesn't go straight to the to-go staff in the first place. Disorganized and slow service.

Maybe get a hostess that will let you sit somewhere other than next to the front door. We requested a booth and she said that is all she had......ha ha they had only had 4 booths sat total at the time in the restaurant. We left and went to BJ's. Good decision.

The food was so good, we got sat very quickly, the server was very sweet (didn't catch her name though.) notably its smaller than other outbacks I've been to and it has a more modern feel. Also they don't have their signature Mac and cheese, only bacon one which in my opinion wasn't as good. Hopefully they bring that back

After starting our day at Kalahari, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice lunch at Outback Steakhouse. Unfortunately, while the service was absolutely outstanding, the food completely missed the mark. First, I want to give credit where it’s due. Our server was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and on top of everything from start to finish. The service was a true 5-star experience, and I have absolutely no complaints about that aspect of our visit. We started with the Bloomin’ Onion. The flavor was decent, but it arrived sitting in a pool of oil, which was very off-putting and hard to finish. There has to be a better way to serve it—perhaps on a raised mesh or draining rack—so the excess oil can drip away instead of soaking into the onion. The drinks were just okay. As a former bartender, I tend to notice when cocktails are well-crafted, and these simply weren’t memorable. The biggest disappointment was our entrées. We both ordered the Surf & Turf with lobster and ribeye, expecting a meal worthy of the price. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing steakhouse meals we have ever had. The ribeye was so heavily seasoned that it was practically inedible. The seasoning completely overwhelmed the meat, and my tongue was literally burning from the excessive amount of spice and salt. A quality ribeye should allow the flavor of the beef to shine—not bury it under a mountain of seasoning. Not to mention, my kid’s kids’ steak cake out like a hockey puck- extremely overcooked, past well done, and so over seasoned that my kid only ate fries as his lunch. Disgusting 🤮 The lobster wasn’t any better. It was overcooked, rubbery, and lacked the delicate texture you’d expect from properly prepared seafood. Having worked in high-end restaurants before, I know what quality meat and seafood should taste like, and this experience was nowhere even close. It honestly felt like whoever was working the grill and preparing the food had very little understanding of how either should be cooked; definitely extremely inexperienced and careless! Outback has built its reputation on steak, so this was especially disappointing. When guests order premium items like ribeye and lobster, they should receive a meal that reflects the price they are paying and over $250 for a four-top is a amazing for a restaurant and server. The incredible service deserves every bit of five-star; but the kitchen, however, seriously needs to step up its game and potentially hire someone who’s more knowledgeable in the kitchen. How do you screw up a steak in a STEAKHOUSE? 🤦🏼‍♀️ The server tried to rectify the situation, but we did not want to spend another minute there. Thank you to our server for a slice of cake for kids- we definitely appreciated that gesture 😊 SO BETTER, Outback. Sadly, because of the food quality, we won’t be returning.
