  As someone who was chronically homeless for almost five years, I cannot adequately express how wonderful it is to ride my motor scooter to H-E-B and have the means to purchase the things I need. I have now been working consistently for over a year and have been housed through my own means for about 17 months. These may seem like ordinary things to some people, but to me, they are blessings I never take for granted. I recently relocated to the Round Rock area, and I have found this H-E-B to be an absolute joy to shop at. Tonight, Drew made my checkout experience exceptional. He was friendly, professional, engaging, and genuinely made the experience better. Employees like Drew are what make a great store stand out, and I believe he should absolutely be considered for future management opportunities. Thank you, H-E-B, and thank you, Drew!   I love this smaller store, however, whenever I report a problem, which I done twice on the same issue, one each to both the store and to corporate, the issue never gets fixed. Twice I reported that a product (Swanson's canned Low Sodium Beef Broth) on aisle 5, is located in an area not easily accessible to all patrons. Its on the bottom shelf behind a large roof support pole. Very difficult to get to for even an able bodied person. But again, my review is to show an example of a company that does not care enough about it's clients concerns to make a simple adjustment.

  This is the worst H Eb that I've ever walked into. The employees are horrible. The parking is terrible. The people that go there are the worst, and they're the rudest, I would never walk into this h e b ever again, it's like walking into the a bad neighborhood

  I love shopping here because everything is always fresh. My only complaint is the self checkout setup. The machines are too small and don’t have a dedicated space for reusable bags, so every time the weight doesn’t match what I bought, I have to call a cashier over to override it with their fingerprint. It’s limited to 10 items or fewer, and often there are only 1-2 cashiers open for everyone else, so the regular lines get long too. For customers in a hurry who bring their own bags, bigger self-checkout stations with a proper spot for reusable bags would make a huge difference. Great store overall, just needs a better checkout flow.

  I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Layla and Krista at the H-E-B @ Red Bud. While I was shopping, I suddenly began feeling very unwell. My blood sugar dropped, and I felt like I was going to faint. I made it to the checkout and told the cashier that I needed to sit down because I wasn't feeling well. The cashier immediately notified the service lead, Layla. She quickly brought me a chair and some water and told me to take my time. She assured me that if I needed anything else, she was there to help and that I could pay for my groceries when I felt better. A few moments later, Krista came over to check on me. She went to get me a chocolate bar and had another employee bring me a small orange juice. After I started feeling better, Krista offered to drive me home. When I told her I felt well enough to drive, she said, "I'll follow you home to make sure you get there safely." I gladly accepted. Krista loaded my groceries into my car, followed me all the way home, carried my groceries into my apartment, and even put my cold items away. Krista told me she was one of the cps leaders. This was truly above and beyond the call of duty. Their kindness, compassion, and genuine concern meant more to me than words can express. Thank you, Layla and Krista, for providing exceptional customer service and for caring for me during a frightening moment. You are both a true blessing. Krista, you are awesome! 🙏 BJ
