A handsome white fella with blue eyes saw me looking lost in the meats aisle, asked me what I needed, and when I told him they were out of the skirt steak I needed he prepared more for me. He was so friendly and kind. Him going out of my way to help me really made my day. I wish I had caught his name- angular features, nice teeth, sanitary covering on head. Thank you Mr!

Do not order curbside delivery from this HEB. I asked for customer service and assistance and they did not care. They had delivered my groceries to the wrong address and they said that they could not help me or refund me because the system did not update my address when I changed it. I received no notification that my groceries were delivered. So they sat at the wrong location in the heat. I guess their system does not update your address in real time but it does not tell you that on their website. First they told me Favor delivered it. But come to find out after calling and talking with Favor, it was Door Dash that services this HEB for delivery. Door Dash has horrible customer service. Contacted Door Dash and they did not want to help. All my groceries were ruined in the heat. Looks like you can't just edit your address. You have to exit out of the app, delete your old address, type in the new address, confirm it, delete your order and start a new one again. Then submit it and hope it updates. Editing the address in the app will not fix it. It also may not update within 24hrs. Therefore you have to wait to make your order since the app doesn't communicate to their main systems. I have emailed HEB corporate office as well and contacted customer service.

He/she/they in the pharmacy with short hair and ring thru middle of eyes ws kinda indifferent during our interaction. I asked if I could use a Ucard for an elderly person I caregive for and they said I don’t think we take those here I’ve never seen them used. I asked if they could ask and that person and a young blonde guy in white coat seemed to be laughing about it. They came back and said yeah I don’t think we do, you can try to swipe it again but it might not work. I need solutions not a maybe. And don’t wanna be laughed at because I’m attempting. General Manager, please tell me why HEB is the biggest grocers in all of Texas and ya don’t take Ucards?!? All other tiny pharmacies take it but you all. Do better! Run it up to the executive team. This should be a none issue! Just make it happen. Heb is always making a way, this should be no different! Make using a Ucard an option for elderly to get their OTC credits used at HEB’s everywhere! Please and thank you!!!!

I need a new grocery store. They quit carrying certain products to make more for crappie marked up HEB name brand products. This is 3rd store I tried to purchase a simple deli meat that has been a staple for over 40 yrs and the quit carrying it. Even told me why, stated above. Uggggg

I had a very upsetting experience at H-E-B today that left me feeling singled out, uncomfortable, and honestly humiliated. The employee involved was named Yerali (or Yeraila), who was working checkout/bagging. What stood out immediately was the drastic difference in how she treated customers based on race. She was friendly, talkative, and helpful to the white customers in line. However, when it came to me, my wife, and another Black/African woman nearby, her entire demeanor changed. While our groceries piled up on the conveyor belt, she refused to help bag, barely spoke to us, and repeatedly walked away from her station while still on the clock. At one point, she left to buy herself a drink at self-checkout while we were still waiting with our groceries sitting there untouched. When she returned, instead of helping us, she immediately began bagging groceries for a white customer who had come after us in line. Eventually, my wife became frustrated enough to say she would just bag the groceries herself because it was obvious we were not being helped. Yerali then walked away again, this time to ask her manager if she could take her break early — while our groceries were still sitting there waiting. When we finally asked if she had a problem with us her response was simply that she was “trying to see if she could go on break early,” as if that excused completely ignoring customers she was supposed to be helping. What makes this especially upsetting is that I initially tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I considered that maybe she wasn’t feeling well or was having a bad day. But after watching how warm, attentive, and helpful to other customers ..while being cold, dismissive, and absent toward Black customers ..it became impossible for me to ignore the pattern. I spoke with the manager, Mercedes, afterward, and she appeared to understand why I felt uncomfortable and upset. I have never left a grocery store feeling this isolated, disrespected, and angry before. No customer should feel racially targeted or treated as less important while simply trying to buy groceries.
