  Really liked this place initially, but it’s wearing a little thin. Food is good, but pricey and the portions are very small. A single meat plate gets you exactly 1 slice of brisket. Service is friendly, but if you’re getting take-out, you must, must, must check your order is right before you leave. It’s convenient, but service is very slow. If there are more than 2 cars in the drive thru, it’s not worth the wait.

  A friend and I stopped by True Texas BBQ inside the new H-E-B in Rockwall, and we had a great experience. The food was really good, it came out quickly, and the whole process flowed smoothly. The restaurant was clean, and the customer service was great. The only issue we ran into was that the fountain drink machine wasn't working. The associate told us it had actually been down for about three months. What I appreciated, though, was how he handled it. After we got our food, he asked if we had ordered fountain drinks and told us to simply grab the equivalent bottled drinks instead. My friend and I grabbed our sodas, and we were good to go. No hassle at all. Things aren't always going to work perfectly, but good customer service is often about how you handle those situations. He handled this one well, and I appreciated that. Between the good food, quick service, cleanliness, and friendly customer service, we really enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be back to True Texas BBQ!   The customer service is immaculate coming from Memphis tn the foods amazing and the customer service is even better if you are in town and hungry for some authentic Texas bbq ask for Edward he’ll hook you up trust me

  After leaving a local basketball tournament, we stopped in for lunch and were extremely impressed. The restaurant was very clean, well-run, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Korean ribs and brisket sandwich, and both were absolutely amazing. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it as well. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Great atmosphere, great service, and outstanding food. We will definitely be back!

  Recently visited and ordered on the kiosk however Kalea was extremely helpful, and very sweet. She made me sure all of our questions were answered with kindness, and patience. This girl deserves a raise! She was the only worker I saw the entire time I was there for 20+ minutes.
