  I love Tom Thumb … they might not have every item I look for, but they do everything they can to get it. The staff is fantastic- Charles, Rhonda, Jaunita and countless others are always so friendly and helpful … it’s really nice to go to your local market and they remember you. This Tom Thumb is always very nice and super clean … I know H-E-B just opened, but Tom Thumb has much better produce - the meat market is fantastic and they are always helpful to find what I need. I will always shop here.

  Do not order flowers from this place or any company who uses them to fulfill orders. I paid good money for an arrangement for my mom for mother's day, and I got the crappiest flowers. Nothing like what I ordered. Had to go buy something else for her, thats how bad they were. Not only that, but when I asked an employee if they fulfilled orders for the company i ordered from(because I wasn't sure which tom thumb it came from) he lied and said they didn't. Then I saw the card with their address and phone number when I got home. Also, customer service sucks. Called to complain and they kept trying to talk over me and cut me off.

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Tom Thumb today, and it’s honestly made me reconsider using this location for pickup orders in the future. To start, my scheduled pickup window was between 5:00–6:00 PM. Based on that, I planned my evening accordingly and arrived right at 5:00 expecting my order to be ready or at least close to it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. It became clear that my order hadn’t even been started until after 5:00 PM, which completely defeats the purpose of scheduling a pickup time. If the store can’t realistically meet those time windows, they shouldn’t be offered. Since I was already there and didn’t want to waste more time waiting in my car, I went inside to grab a few additional items myself. While shopping, I checked on my order and noticed a pretty frustrating substitution—zero sugar sodas had been replaced with full sugar versions. That’s not a small or equivalent swap, especially for anyone who specifically chooses sugar-free options for dietary or health reasons. I had to take extra time to track someone down and get that corrected, which again adds to the inconvenience. The biggest issue, though, came after I finally got home. As I started unloading my groceries, I quickly realized that a significant portion of my order was completely missing. Not just one or two items—half the order was gone. Yogurts, coffee, lemonade, produce… multiple key items that I specifically ordered and paid for were nowhere to be found. At that point, it’s beyond frustrating—it’s unacceptable. Between the delayed shopping, poor substitutions, and missing items, this experience was a major letdown from start to finish. Pickup orders are supposed to save time and make life easier, but this did the exact opposite. I ended up spending more time correcting mistakes, going into the store, and now likely having to follow up again about missing items. I understand that things can get busy, but this felt like a breakdown in process and attention to detail across the board. I’ve had better experiences in the past, but after today, I don’t have much confidence in using this location for pickup again anytime soon.

  It's Tom Thumb what else can you say! I know HEB is just opening but they'll never forget about Tom Thumb and what makes it such a fantastic grocery store that's stood the test if time! 🌻🤠
