  Very disappointed, I go to saltgrass for all my celebrations. Took my mom today for her 71st birthdayday and the waitress acted like we were annoying. My husband asked the manager to bring her cake for her birthday and he forgot, so no one came to sing her happy birthday or give her a cake. We waited 20 min and nothing. When I left I told the manager about my complaints, he said oh yea we forgot we are sorry and thank you for the feedback. Wow seriously? I spent over 200 and all I got is thank you for the feedback. Won't be back, y'all definitely lost it.

  Great location, steak is prepared just as requested and it still has the original view of the kitchen where your food is being prepared. Unlike their Mesquite location that is terrible. You can't see them cooking anymore because they closed it in after the pandemic so you can't see what's going on in their kitchen and they NeveR prepare my steak as requested. I'm a Landry's member and was about to give up on eating Saltgrass until I tried this location!

  First of all, making a reservation for 20 people is never the easiest thing. I’m a host/server myself, so I completely understand why most restaurants don’t like taking parties this big. But Saltgrass in Rockwall not only accommodated us they welcomed us with open arms. Management was amazing from the very beginning when I called to make the reservation. The host who took my reservation was so sweet and accommodating. Huge shoutout to Steven and Madison because y’all were AMAZING!! Steven speaking Spanish was honestly such a big plus since half of my family only speaks Spanish. It made everyone feel comfortable and included, and we really appreciated that. Madison was also so sweet and stayed on top of everything the entire time. You guys seriously made us feel so taken care of. And the kitchen staff… the food was BOMB like always!! We’re regulars at Saltgrass, so we already know the food never misses, but taking care of a party of 20 and still making everything come out great is impressive. Thank y’all so much for making my dad’s birthday feel so special. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make tonight such a great experience. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

  I'm not the one to complain, so you tell me what you think. My 36yr old daughter forgot her id, can't have a drink with me. NP. Waitress took everyones order but forgot to get my husband order, another 15 minutes wasted. My steak came with no butter and oven cooked, probably had been returned by a previous customer. Those darn tables are rediculously Small. 4 people Can't Sit there with 4 plates and water and tea. That's why I opted out for a booth. That's not a true steakhouse setting. Fast food restaurants have larger tables. One of the blonde haired waitress literally stood next to my husband and shook her nasty hair out with her fingers several times, disgusting and she needs to be trained. I got a 50.00 gift card to give away.

  My husband and I came here around 2pm on 06/16/26 for a late lunch date and started off with some fried mushrooms, which were freshly made and had a delightful crunch. Maiah was our server and she was very sweet and made our visit an enjoyable one. The chicken fried steak is the one thing my husband comes for and he raves about the white pepper gravy all the time! We enjoy Saltgrass and the service.
