I went to the Rockport location I was very upset with the service I was given the manager was very rude, disrespectful asking if we could pay his bills. I was appalled that McDonald allows this. I will not ever be coming to to this McDonald with this kind of management

Dear McDonald's Rockport Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent visit my wife and I made to your restaurant in Rockport, Texas. Because your restaurant is located in such a beautiful area with a wonderful sea view, we decided to stop for an early dinner at approximately 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable experience turned into a very frustrating one. We ordered two combo meals, one with a Sprite and the other with a Coca-Cola, along with a cup of water. When our order was called, we discovered that no ketchup or mustard had been provided with our meals. In addition, the drinks were incorrect. We received a Coca-Cola, a water, and another beverage that tasted like sparkling water but was definitely not Sprite. I approached the counter to request the missing condiments. The employee who assisted me, wearing a hoodie, handed them over in a manner that I found rude and unprofessional. My wife then went to the counter to ask about her missing Sprite, but her concern was dismissed and not handled respectfully. I returned to the counter a second time to address the issue. The same employee began arguing with me regarding the Sprite order before finally informing me that the restaurant had run out of Sprite and that I would need to choose another beverage. Even after selecting a replacement drink, it took an unreasonable amount of time to receive it, which only added to our frustration. What concerns me most is not the missing condiment or unavailable soft drink, as these things can happen. Rather, it was the poor customer service, lack of communication, and disrespectful treatment we experienced throughout our visit. I encourage you to review this incident and provide additional customer service training to your staff. Having a prime location in a popular tourist destination is certainly an advantage, but long-term success depends on treating customers with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. I would appreciate hearing what actions will be taken to address this matter and prevent similar experiences for future customers

Went through the drive-thru to grab some food for my fiancé, asked for a SPICY MCCHICKEN MEAL and the employee had no idea what I was talking about and offered a Spicy McCrispy meal instead. I said no, I want the spicy mcchicken meal, the employee said give me a moment, walked away for almost 2 full minutes, came back and asked again “So you want the Spicy McCrispy meal?” I was so frustrated and knew my fiancé was waiting at home hungry so I just said yes and then ended up paying twice as much for a meal I didn’t even want because the employees don’t know their own menu. The spicy mcchicken has been on the nationwide menu for over 20 years and the meal for it has been around since 2024. I just wanted the meal advertised by McDonald’s for $5, but ended up with paying twice as much for something I did not ask for.

It’s interesting that management and this brand as a whole let this store run like a back alley bus station! I had a burnt sandwich came in for a remake, and got talked trash to by an employee getting soda at the time, named Mark, who lied, claimed to be a manager and tried to intimidate me with veiled threats! His aggression towards me wouldn’t cease and he had to be told repeatedly to go to the back by the actual manager and had to eventually be escorted away! So sad! Clean house immediately, please and thank you! And if over 70% of your products are fried why are subpar products being knowingly sold out of old grease, that needs to be changed but hasn’t and that’s why “all the sandwiches we’re going to come out burned”!
