Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The food is okay but if you use curbside triple check your order when they bring it out. We consistently have missing items. The lack of effort at this location is ridiculous.

The customer service was outstanding I waited in the front for 2 minutes, and I got my order taken precisely the way I wanted it. then when I got my order they helped me out with ketchup, napkins, and even offered to refill my drink. Best customer service I've had in a while!

Yesterday, 8/22, my daughter and I wanted drinks. I debated whether to go inside the restaurant or use the drive-through. I only saw one car at the drive-through window, so I decided to order there. A full five minutes passed before that car finished ordering and moved forward. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a large Diet Coke and a medium sweet tea. Another 20 minutes went by before we reached the pickup window. I noticed they were using the “pay at the first window” system, which seemed designed to make customers commit to staying in line and not giving up and driving away. Our drinks were handed to us by a young man with a beard. He did not say a single word to us. After we pulled away, my daughter told me her tea was unsweetened and there was no ice in it at all. I drove back around and went inside, intending to refill the cup myself from the drink station, but the sweet tea container was empty. I did empty the unsweetened tea and filled the cup with ice. I went to the counter and explained the situation. The employee at the counter said she would get me some sweet tea from the back. While waiting, I could hear the young man arguing that he had served me sweet tea. After a few minutes, longer than it would take to fill the cup, the employee returned with a replacement tea. I thanked her and went to my car. When my daughter tasted it, she asked, “Why does this feel like a slushy?” I took a sip and immediately got a mouthful of sugar. One of three things appears to have happened. Either they forgot to add sugar to the sweet tea and then dumped a large amount into the container without stirring it, causing the sugar to settle at the bottom and be dispensed into my daughter’s cup; they were out of sweet tea and served unsweet tea with sugar added afterward in an attempt to sweeten it; or, after I complained, they decided to make sure the tea was “sweet” by adding an excessive amount of sugar directly to the cup. The tea was undrinkable. When I got home I poured it into a clear glass and there was three inches of sugar in the bottom of the glass.

We when to Whataburger waited for our order for a long time and the cashier was rude. The cashier wanted us to move over to the other lane while there was a truck in front of us and there sign on the side. We couldn't do she gave us attitude. We ignored it and moved over after the truck moved. They gave the orders to about 6 cars before they came back to the car. The cashier came back so rude because the order she was trying to give us was someone else's. Then they come once again back to our car asking us for our receipt because they didn't know what order we had. My husband kept telling her the number of our orders. They got mad because we gave them a different receipt because we always go to Whataburger we had 3 of them🤦🏻‍♀️😂... Then my husband took them the right one... They were pissed and the manager kept saying that we were cussing at her because she lied so she would not get in trouble...Then my husband told the manger there at the time that he should have gone to the other Whataburger and the manager got mad... He said I heard u yelling and cussing which is a lie. And he told my husband here's your receipt so you can go to the other Whataburger... I can't believe how rude they are and the manager needs to learn to be a manger and stop acting like a kid because of a comment that was made. If the people that work in the other Whataburger serve their customers right then I don't mind driving a couple of more minutes to the next location. It's sad that there is only one Whataburger in Robstown and they can not do there job right. U need to get a better manager and better cashiers. Don't waste your time going to the Whataburger in Robstown, make the drive to the next location believe me you will thank me. I know plenty of people that drive to the one in five points from Robstown just because they treat their customers bad. That's because we were there at 1:00a.m... Robstown is a great place but people like this make Robstown look bad🤦🏻‍♀️
