Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AGANTONIO GREENEMay 9, 20263.0It was more about the burger choice more than anything. Whataburger is one of my favorite places. I was taking the smokehouse burger test vs BK, whose burger was released 1 day before Whataburger. Not really impressed with BK overall for their burgers. I usually just have them for new items. Back to the steakhouse burger, the sauce was way more tangy than expected, and unfortunately I added pickles (which I prefer on the burger), which took it over the top (sour). I think even without the pickles, it still would've been way too much. Oh well, you win some, and lose some. However, Whataburger burgers will always be better than BK overall!!

I understand mistakes can happen but 8 times in a row is crazy. It even says on the receipt no onions but whoever is making my patty melts just hates me or something 💀
- MSMaria SloanApr 26, 20261.0Even though the Roanoke location is much closer to me, I choose to drive to the Grapevine location because the overall experience is much better. Unfortunately, at the Roanoke location, some employees often return inside after smoking outside without properly washing their hands, while also carrying a noticeable cigarette smell. This negatively impacts the customer experience. In addition, the staff have not been very welcoming, and the food quality has not met expectations. The Grapevine location, on the other hand, is always friendly, professional, and consistently gets orders right. It is worth the extra drive for the better service and atmosphere.

Once that happens 2-4 are always going to get their food before you when I can clearly see came behind mein the drive through and ordered like I did. Finally my food has arrived and I do have to check it and make sure it's correct. To have to wait through 5 order that was behind you and the order still not correct is one of the most irritating things in this world. 🙄
