  The food was amazing. We were looking for African cuisine and this is it! The lemon pepper wings were a hit. The oxtails were phenomenal. The blend of spices and flavor made everything so good. Thank you for that. The owner is an amazing man and kuddos to him. Great service! We will be back!

  Not many places you can get Authentic Jamaican and Nigerian food in the same place! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is perfectly seasoned and a great portion size for what you pay! Great customer service, you can tell the owner cares about his customers and staff.

  The jollof had uncooked pieces and tasted nothing like actual jollof. Plantain was too greasy, drenched in oil. I love soft plantain, but this was just inedible. Additionally, the meat was dry and bland but was the only thing somewhat edible. In short, $60 wasted. Of all the African restaurants I’ve tried, this was easily the worst. I called the restaurant only to give feedback, I didn’t even request a refund, but the owner apologized and said he would refund me, so I of course accepted. After waiting some days I called back to inform that I never received the refund. He said he’d Zelle me because he doesn’t know what happened with the initial attempt. Mind you, he wasn’t picking my follow up calls until I called using a different number. I agreed to the Zelle, but it’s been 2 weeks now and still no refund. I attempted calling today and my number was going straight to vm each time, but when my wife called it rang, so he clearly blocked my numbers. I initially didn’t want to leave a review, because I wanted to just believe it was all a mistake, and they were having a bad day, but the owner’s lies regarding the refund and shady behavior is simply unacceptable. I will be disputing with my bank and definitely exposing him on my platforms with the call recordings so the community can be aware of just how shady this restaurant owner is. On the calls he admits to training new cooks with zero experience and acknowledged he knew the rice was bad and not to standard, yet it was still being sold. Dont waste your time or money here, there are plenty of better African restaurants with better service and integrity. You can also see his replies to previous negative comments always start with defensiveness instead of accountability… accusing honest customers of trying to mess up his business. I should have checked those reviews before I went.
