  My mom and I finally got to stop by Lazy Dog for the first time today and were very impressed! The restaurant itself has a really comfortable and clean atmosphere. The menu was large and diverse. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Our server, Curtis (I apologize if I spelled your name wrong), had a great energy and his customer service was on point. The manager, Alyssa, came by to check on us and really made us feel welcome. She's really leading a great team!

  Just had Mother’s Day lunch here and Wow they are on point. I did not have a reservation so I walked in to what seemed to be the longest waiting line ever but since the lady said wait was 20-25 min we waited. In just about that time we were already seated. They had such a smooth flow of getting people in and out even with it being incredibly busy. Food as always was amazing. Flavor never fails to be amazing at lazy dog. And last but not least LOVEEEE the fact that their kids menu has meals that are REAL protein and nutrient packed measles not just the chicken nuggets and pizza that everyone seems to offer. I never leave reviews but this staff must have some great leaders.

  We’ve been a dozen or so times in the last few months and will continue going. The food and service are just incredible. Our waitress tonight, Trinity, was outstanding. The manager visits every table and checks on everyone. It’s just fantastic food, period. The appetizer special is great as well. We go periodically during the week and most Sundays after church. Get the beer or cocktail. Get the entree you want. Get the dessert. And if Trinity is your waitress it’ll be even better. Cheers to the entire staff.

  If I could rate the service as a 20/5 I would. Kristina was our server and she was phenomenal. When my friends food came out, her salmon was undercooked but she wasnt comfortable telling anyone about it bc she didnt want to bother them. A manager running the floor noticed (server hadn't come by yet, she was working with another table next to us) and came and fixed it for her without us having to say anything. They also took it off her tab. On top of being very transparent and flexible with our picky eating habits during ordering and when food came out. Will definitely be coming back even though we live on the opposite side of Houston. We love Lazy Dog and its people who truly care about its customers. 💕😊

  I came here for a Yelp Elite Event on Monday.This was such a remarkable experience. Even though it was on a Monday, it worked out perfectly since it wasn’t far from my house; an ideal way to unwind after work. The General Manager, Greg, was incredibly welcoming and took time to come chat with us. He shared the history behind Lazy Dog, including how the name came about—the owners observed their dog looking completely carefree and relaxed and said, “Lazy Dog.” I thought that was such a neat and fitting story. The Head Chef also came out and walked us through the seasonal summer dishes. He was very informative and really made you appreciate what we were about to try. And the staff? Absolutely amazing. They brought out a variety of small bites and main entrees afterwards. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by a few things. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was a standout for me. Normally, I don’t go for anything that isn’t fully cooked (steak is my only exception), but I tried it and I would definitely order it again. The Chili Garlic Cucumbers gave me a reminiscent moment. They reminded me of the cucumbers with vinegar, salt, and pepper I used to eat as a child. Super refreshing. I also enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma Salad. I’m not big on chickpeas or raw onions, so I just moved those to the side (though a few probably slipped through 😄), but overall it was really good. The Loco Moco Fried Rice was different, but in a good way, just fried rice with a unique twist of ingredients. By that point, I was pretty full. Now let’s talk about dessert… I’m usually not a dessert person, but wow!! They were all so tasty. The S’more Brownie Sundae was my favorite. The portion was just right for me, though I wouldn’t have minded an extra scoop of ice cream. And that Butter Cake? Whew. I could slap whoever made it, LOL! It was THAT good! I also met a few great people, which always adds to the experience. This was my first Elite event of the year, and it definitely set the bar high. Yelp Elite Squad and Jando did it again!
