  I had tried Howdy Hot chicken and really liked it before they closed in Sugarland and Missouri City, I was craving the sandwich and drove to Richmond but not planning on ever going back, bad customer service and uncleanliness of this restaurant was disappointing. I used the restroom and it was disgusting and the soap was watered down and if this is what the employees use it’s concerning. I ordered two chicken and fries with no spice for my kids but when the order was ready there was only one chicken and fries and it was really spicy, I thought the second one was coming and when I noticed it wasn’t I got up to order another one but the guy that took our orders disappeared and when I called to the lady in the back she looked up at me and ignored me and continued on her phone, there was no one available to help for like 30minutes even though she was just standing back there. Anyways we finally left and went to raising canes to get some chicken my kids could eat. Very disappointing because this use to be a restaurant that had a good hot chicken sandwich, will definitely not be going back. No wonder they keep closing.

  Me and my best friend went there to grab a bite and we got ourselves loaded fries and the basket and oh my it was a bomb!! I wish we took pictures but we realized it after we ate everything. Shout out to their staff Khizar for recommending us and he was so nice and patient with us!! Definitely going there again!

  El señor Sergio me falto el respeto y lo peor de todo me dijo que si quería la comida y si no que no comiera y luego me dejo ahí sin terminar de pagar y mando a otra persona diciendo que el otro joven a mi me gustaba eso es una falta de respeto y si el sigue ahí tendré que denunciar al restaurante por tener personas que no hacen su trabajo por faltar el respeto.

  My friend/sister and I went to Howdy Chicken on Monday 8/25/2026. The food was great and the atmosphere on the inside was great, the food was excellent the portions were large size even in the small order of the loaded waffle fries, it was a lot of food. For this review where I am rating this visit for Wednesday 8/26/2026 a 2 is because the food was ok and not the same quality as the first visit. The food was not as much as the first time, the cole slaw was not prepared correctly it had no taste and tasted spoiled, and the person who prepared my food gave me baby size portions for the loaded waffle fries ordered, and I ordered two and both were horribly prepared. There was barely any food in the container and was very disappointed and was not happy, and again very disappointed in the service and the food portions and the very bad preparation of the cole slaw, we barely had any queso over the fries, we barely had chicken, or fries. This again was very disappointing.
