Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SSSecretSoles2 days ago4.0I was in there to pick up food a little while ago. They were busy and working hard. The only issue is when the older man came up to the register, all he said was, “WHAT IS IT?!” I felt like I did something wrong. My food was tasty though!

- A김기정Jul 8, 20261.0First time eating at this location, I ordered a Bacon&Cheese Whataburger meal and got a regular Whataburger instead. Paid the price for one and the order ticket and burger wrapper sticker both said "bacon", so some kitchen employee obviously either wasn't paying attention to or cared about what they were preparing. When I got my burger it was in a carry-out bag instead of on a tray, even though I never said I would be taking it on the go. Every other table around me got their food on a tray just like normal, except myself and another customer, both of us Asian. Don't want to make assumptions but definitely an unpleasant observation for sure. Safe to say this will be the first and last time I'll be coming to this location.

I repeated myself, the cashier read the order back correctly, and somehow the burger still came out wrong. The drink was wrong too, so I guess accuracy just wasn’t on the menu today. And don’t let them tell you the receipt is in the bag—it wasn’t. Do yourself a favor and check your order before you drive off because apparently they’re handing out surprise meals now.
