The employee who assisted me made me feel uncomfortable and appeared to be making fun of me because I don’t speak English fluently. When I explained that I speak Spanish so we could communicate better, he responded, “I don’t speak Spanish, I’m white.” I found that comment extremely inappropriate and offensive. I want to point out that this is the first time I have ever had an experience like this at this store. I have been shopping here for about five years, and I have never experienced anything like this before. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing, and I hope management addresses this type of behavior. Customers deserve to be treated with respect regardless of their language or background.
