I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway. The employee asked what bread I wanted, and I said Italian Herbs & Cheese. Instead of starting my sandwich, she grabbed another loaf to make an online order that had just come in and focused on making those sandwiches while trying to take my order at the same time.
When I asked for turkey, she put turkey on my sandwich but then added bacon. I had to stop her and ask, "Is that my sandwich?" because I can't eat bacon. She had to remake it, which could have been avoided if she had been paying attention.
Then, when she asked what vegetables I wanted, I requested lettuce, black olives, green bell peppers, and red onion. After she added the black olives, I politely asked for extra black olives. That's when she responded, "You had enough. I gave you six." Her comment didn't make any sense because there weren't even six individual black olives on my sandwich to begin with. I've never had a Subway employee refuse a request for extra vegetables, especially something as simple as black olives. The response came across as rude and unnecessary.
When I asked for a lot of ranch, instead of putting on a reasonable amount, she just dumped it all over my sandwich.
To make matters worse, she was talking on her phone through her headphones the entire time she was preparing my food. It felt like her phone conversation had more of her attention than the customer standing in front of her, which likely contributed to the mistakes.
Mistakes happen, but the lack of attention, the poor communication, the confusing comments about the vegetables, and being on a personal phone call while preparing customers' food made this one of the worst experiences I've had at a Subway. I hope management addresses the customer service and food preparation standards at this location.
