Great food and superior service but it's a very difficult restaurant to have a conversation in. Not good for business meetings really.

I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service at this location. I constantly make large catering orders at this location. Jacob and his staff are top notch in customer service, and the food quality is top notch as well. Thank you to Jacob and the entire staff for a seamless experience every single time!

Pappasitos switched to coconut oil for all their fried foods. I first learned this several months ago at DFW airport, but forgot — and unfortunately brought my family here. The reaction was immediate. The kids literally cried because they couldn’t understand the taste, describing it as “bath soap,” and they couldn’t get it out of their mouths. We even let them drink large amounts of Sprite to rinse away the flavor, and it still didn’t help. The chicken tenders, fries, and tortilla chips are all fried in coconut oil, and the taste is unmistakable. Every adult at the table frowned at the same time and agreed it tasted like hair product. It was absolutely, undeniably atrocious. The flavor lingered on our palates for HOURS — unpleasant, offensive, and impossible to ignore. Pappas, this was a very bad idea. If you’re going to charge premium prices, the food needs to taste premium, and coconut oil is not it. It smells bad, tastes even worse, ruins the entire meal AND the rest of your day. Every burp will be a reminder of fried coconut oil. 🗑

We recently visited Pappasito’s Cantina in Richardson, TX, and overall, the food was good and our waiter was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely did his best to help us when we had trouble using a gift card to pay our bill.
Unfortunately, the experience became frustrating when he asked for assistance from someone wearing a white shirt. Rather than helping resolve the issue with the gift card, that person seemed uninterested and simply asked if we had another form of payment. Our waiter continued trying to help, and we appreciated his effort, but the lack of assistance from management was disappointing.
The food and service from our waiter were good, but the way the gift card issue was handled left us with a less-than-positive impression. Hopefully, management can do a better job supporting their staff and helping customers resolve payment issues in the future.
