Whenever I traveled to Mexico, I liked to fill up my tank at that station. However, one day I had a bad experience: after I finished pumping gas, I selected the option to print a receipt and removed the nozzle—but gas kept gushing out, drenching my entire arm and legs. I called out for help, but they just ignored me. I felt terrified. I went inside the store twice to wash up, but I could still smell the gas on me. I asked the cashier why they hadn't helped me—or at least offered me some water—but they simply asked for my name, address, and phone number. Perhaps they only did this to prevent me from filing a complaint, now that they have my personal information; however, I don't think their way of "solving" the problem was fair at all. They just made me feel like my safety doesn't matter to them.
